This Isn't Some "50 Shades" Nonsense
First of all, this isn't that lame "50 Shades" garbage. I couldn't get through the first few chapters because of how unrealistic that book was. That being said, this book is anything but. It is raw, unnerving and brutally honest. The two ladies go through similar, but separate experiences all the while not knowing that their journey would lead them to a merging path. There is betrayal, by both the husband and wife. The only difference I would imagine is that the husband took a more vanilla route to any sexual dalliances. I would also venture to say that the number of partners he had was totally eclipsed by the sexual hunger of his wife once she went Black. At times, you wonder if she will ever survive. She sometimes spirals down paths that take her to some of the lowest places in life anyone could imagine; from prostitution to bestiality. Her lust-love for Black men shows though because no matter how humiliating some situations become, she always go back to being with a Black man. Even when she develops cancer and is nursed back by her husband, she abandons any chance of normalcy just to get back into the lifestyle that set her free sexually. The daughter goes through similar experiences. Once she leaves her white boyfriend and tries Black there is no stopping her. Her pursuit for sexual freedom is unmatched by many, even at times her insatiable mother. She is also very open-minded when it comes to sex, not pointing fingers at others and accepting them as they are. Such as her brother's incestuous infatuation with her. Her experiences are similar at times to her mothers, from the prostitution to the STDs. Her pleasing nature takes her into the realm of BDSM where she seems to find the right "fit" for what she needs. And then, all roads lead home. The mother and daughter find themselves at the same party. They also find that they have more in common than they both realized. The love between the two (not incestuous) is heartwarming and bonding. They share their stories with one another and find mutual respect and a renewed relationship. Knowing that they both share a love of Black men brings them even closer. And, being able to explore this within a loving family dynamic seems to have made the whole journey somehow worth it.I liked this so much that I bought the hard copy, and the Nook version. That should tell you something. Though, this book may not be for everybody, I am sure it will strike you as a sexual journey laid bare and open for all to see.

Delivers interracial erotica with all the force of a Hurricane!
In this book, New Orleans based authors Kate and Jessica Rousseau deliver interracial erotica with all the force of a Hurricane. The book begins with the Rousseau family moving to New Orleans and focuses on the lives of Kate, the wife and mom, and Jessica, the only daughter. Both Kate and Jessica, each unbeknownst to the other, soon finds themselves successfully seduced by an attractive, dominant black man who changes their lives forever. Lost in the arms of these men, both Kate and Jessica experience a man drilling into the essence of their femininty, shaping them to crave sexual relationships built around their submission to men of African descent. Set against the back drop of gritty, mystical New Orleans, mother and daughter alike find themselves pulled into a tempest of interracial passion, riding uncontrollable waves of submissive desires that strand them in extreme situations, where converging emotional winds of sexual desire and genuine fear blur Kate and Jessica's lines of consent. Be warned this book is not for the faint of heart and has some disturbing content. However for fans of interracial D/s themed erotica, this book is the proverbial ounce in a lifetime storm that must be experienced!

Kate and Jessica seem to capture the erotic feel of New Orleans
My own sexual renaissance occurred in New Orleans and there is a gritty reality to their accounts. This is far superior to other interracial erotica (which seem to be written from a male viewpoint).

Blown away
First things first. I want to make It clear that I am not a Professional Critic By any means. That Being Said I Have to Say I love this Book. It is Totally awesome and unashamed in the Raw unadulterated reality that is offered. No. I Have Not Read "50 Shades" and to be honest, after reading this I don't think I want to. I think I would sorely disappointed. I came into this with the same frame I did when I read "Ordeal" and for those who are not aware this is the Autobiography of Linda Lovelace. The Changes these two women go through to become who they are to day would Make Most people go insane. If you decide to read this book, you have to come in with an open mind. If you Don't then You can't get into it at all. and even if you are a straitlaced individual you will come to realize how Much Of a freak you might be in enjoying the wonderful words that these Ladies have offered for Our enjoyment. For the Sake Of Not Being Censored, I will not go Into detail about some of My favorite Parts But I will Say this I thoroughly enjoyed the ride I was taken On. I felt Myself almost in tears at points in the book and other times I felt Like my eyes were going to fall out Of my head over what I just read. There was Only One point where I was upset during this entire read.... That was the point where I finished the Book and I didn't have their second book to pick up and continue reading ;-).**DISCLAIMER** this Book is Not for the Faint Of heart on Closed minded Individuals that would seek to condemn these two wonderful women for Sharing the most Intimate parts of their souls with the rest of the world. So If you are one Of those Individuals Move on.That Being Said.Kate and Jessica Hats Off to you Both and I will be Reading your second Book SoonLove and respect.

An engaging and honest piece of literature
This is a fascinating and unequivocally honest account of the 2 central characters journey of discovery. Some of the content will make uncomfortable reading and I certainly had my share of those. Once I got past the disturbing elements though, I found the book refreshing in its sincerity. At no point did I feel it was disintegrating into boring cliches. The stories are 'full on' in their depiction of interracial encounters and drug use; which gave the book its air of authenticity. The younger protagonists stories were by far the more unsettling. Fortunately, she found her protector much later in her journey unlike her Mother who found hers earlier. This book is not for everyone. In fact, I will struggle to find anyone in my circle [male or female] to recommend it to. That said, as a piece of true to life literature exploring the breath of female sexuality and interracial sex in particular, It is unsurpassed.

Extreamly hot & informative read
Wow was not expecting this book to be so compelling, yes it's very arousing erotic read but also very informative & detailed insight into two women's sexual desires & fantasies. I only wanted to read a few pages as I had errands to run but ended up forgetting this book just sucked me in. As a black man it's intriguing to read about interracial relationships & sex from not one bit two women's prospectives. I'm now following their blog & can't wait to find out more about their insight into their attractions to black men, I hope they have more books planned & maybe a movie to (just wishful thinking). I definitely recommend this book a strong 20/10 :)

Something different
Erotica with a real difference - it's a real life account, some of it very explicit, some of it verging on the alarming, but utterly compelling. A real eye opener of a book. Recommended for a holiday read...

Alternative and very pleasantly un-pornographic
When you sweep away the thrills, this is a very honest account of what suppression, oppression and denial can do to generate something almost akin to sexual addiction. It is indeed a story of two interwoven journeys with serious consequences.

Great erotic read of real life experiences
A nice erotic read. Sometimes even too sexual and kinky for me, and I love this type of stuff. The real excitement is that these stories are real and not made up, well as far as I know anyway.
