This is a square sleeping bag shaped liner. The material is about 3x thicker (estimate) than the Sea-to-Summit which is shear. It’s heavier too, but worth it for winter temps.

after reading the reviews you would think it's just an oversized walmart tshirt sewn into a sleeping bag. but it's completely different. ultra ULTRA soft. "body hugging" to me reads like "claustrophobia", but instead, it's not restrictive at all because of how much it stretches, you forget it's there. you can tell the warmth increase right away when you add it to a bag. the most surprising part is the thickness and weight of this product. very THICK and HEAVY. which doesn't bother me one bit. not a cheap paper thin useless material. wicking as well for when you have too many skin areas touching "plastic" (feeling) material as with 80% of camping gear. great way to ruin a night if you're sweaty and hot. price is amazing. i'm very satisfied with this product and would definitely recommend. love snugpak gear ;never disappoints

I ordered this for my wife's "get home bag", and yes, you get exactly what it looks like. It's basically t-shirt material sewn into a rectangular sleeping bag. I chose the rectangle shape over the mummy shape because it would be more comfortable if you had to use it outside of a mummy bag than the smaller shape would be. If you put this inside a mummy bag, you'd have extra material, (which might be annoying), but in my mind, the versatility outweighs the extra material if the situation called for it.As to fit, I climbed inside and it was comfortable against my skin, and came up to my head no problem. I'm 5'10". I had MORE than enough width in the bag, so if you're a bigger person, it will still be comfortable. Put this inside your bag, and expect an additional 5-10 degrees of cold ability from your bag with the added "dead space" the material provides.Snugpak is a great company, that makes great products. They're a British company, and take pride in their work.

It’s soft, has a drawstring at the top which is nice. It definitely helped my bag reach a few degrees colder, probably 5-10f.But why no zipper? It’s really awkward to get into and out of. Literally an extra $3 for a zipper would make this so much better.

I'm 6'1" 260 lbs and this fits even me. It is very stretchy. The think I like about it is that I don't have to carry the largest sleeping bag so am ready for a wider range of temperatures without all the bulk. The compression stuff sack reduces this to the size of a softball or slightly larger.

This is a very compactable item which is important for backpacks. It is a liner that will provide your current sleeping bag with added cold weather protection.

It really does snug up on the body, amazingly. It is stretchy around, not lengthwise. I liked how it snugged up and cinched up around my neck and shoulders, but ... 1) I am just not going to be able to crawl into that top opening without any side opening and 2) I can't tell that it really adds any warmth. It might be a good liner to keep the sleeping bag clean inside and be very washable, and small for that, but for me it is nearly an entire pound to backpack and difficult for me to get into and not making enough warmth for me to consider carrying on the long hikes.

I use this whether I need it or not. It does provide a measurable boost to the insulation properties of any sleeping bag...The best part, though, is that this thing feels like a regular blanket.

Not very happy, ordered this and £500 of other snugpak gear this week from amazon.I have zero problem with waiting for it to turn up, but my sleeping bag delivered by dpd has been stolen by either the dpd driver or amazon driver who brought this. Im servely autistic and this is all i can do to complain about it. I needed the wintrr sleeping bag its cold ffs. Why are people like this, why is it so impossible to sort, ive been ripped.off and need to save for another. Wont be buyinh from here anymore well done driver witch ever it one of you it was. Hope you needed to stay warm tonite you..... update as of day after, dpd have "found" and delivered it within 24hours. Scumbags will always exist unfortunately, the speed and professionalism shown in resoving this matter has restored my confidence in both dpd and amazon. I'm very greatful to eveyone involved.Thank you so much.Ps the thermalon liner is fantastic.I tried it last night under a snugpak jungle blanket with the window open.I thought being autistic, i would miss my weighted blanket more when camping but this liner made up for it.Really does hug you.Plus its basically a giant sock, so i couldn't kick it off in my sleep and wake up freezing like most nights👍

Lightweight and packs up small. Feels like it's made of t shirt material. As it is rectangular it doesn't do too well in a mummy bag as it scrunches up around you. But at the end of the day if you need extra insulation and your standard bag is not good enough anything is better than nothing. Could also be used on its own in a hot climate.

Great item, ideal for my sons Duke of Edinburgh expedition trip for the cold nights. I would highly recommend
