I am very satisfied with this canary seed as far as price, quality, quantity and shipment speed, and ease of ordering. My little canary sings his heart out, night and day; he deserves a fresh, nutritious meal!I had been feeding a pet store brand for several years, and I noticed the bird sorting through his food, scattering a lot of seed. But with the Vortmann's, there is much less waste.When I first opened the bag, the product smelled incredibly fresh and inviting. No dust or varmits crawling around inside.I liked the canary seed so much I ordered the 4 lbs. bag for my parakeets.While I'm not an expert on avian diets by any means, but for an average small bird enthusiast, this product is just right for me and my feathered friends.

This is my canary’s favorite bird seed. I’’ve tried many others and always return to this brand. The minute I fill Pip’s feeders with this birdseed and put it in his cage, he rushes over to eat. The other seeds, he only eats when he’s very hungry. This bird seed, he actually enjoys. It smells good and fresh too.

Good mixture of a variety of seeds

My canaries did not like this . They tossed most of it out of the dish. It smelled good and there were no moths, so it must have been fresh. I had to change to something they would eat and not toss.
