Field Of Dreams

I downloaded the music immediately into my Mac, but when I tried to play the disc on either of my cd devices, it does not play.

Sounds nice and clear of the music from the movie of Field of Dreams.

I liked it, you'll like it if you have scene the movie and loved the soundtrack.

James Horner is one of my favorite musicians, including Thomas Newman (Road to Perdition, American Beauty, White Oleander, Erin Brockovich, Fried Green Tomatoes), James Newton Howard (All of M. Night Shyamalan movies) and John Williams (Star Wars, Jaws, Hook, E.T., Jurassic Park. Saving Private Ryan) to name a few. I am forgetting some more musicians, but these are my favorite muscicians, that come first, for movies. I especially love the score at the end. For this movie, to remember a simple time of real passion for something never fully lived, it's sad for those then, and now, that had to take different paths and not follow their dreams. I thought this cd would have all the great music of the 60s/70s that was featured in the film. This was NOT it. Totally disappointed. Since I took plastic off, I’m not sure I can return it. But this was NOT was I was expecting. I did not want the instrumental film music (which is great in the movie as part of the whole) but I won’t be listening to this cd.

It's not my favorite James Horner soundtrack but is pretty and nice background music with a gentler, rustic feel.. The movie did not call for anything bombastic; it was a great gem of a film and who better to do the soundtrack than James Horner? I noticed his photo in the "In Memorium" part of the Oscars, and it saddened me; he left much too early, but left us a great body of beautiful soundtrack music, not to mention the killer Titanic, one of the best soundtracks of all time in my opinion. Field of Dreams is one of the few movies that actually made me cry; maybe the music had something to do with that.

Been playing the CD in my car. Could not find it anywhere else, so glad it was available here. When I hear the music, it reminds me of growing up watching my nephew's play and various other baseball game memories.

AAA+++ great goods easy transaction great price and speedy delivery...i always intended to buy the soundtrack, then i found out that it's out of print -its a little over priced but if you want it get it now while stocks last...

Feld der Träume ist ohne Frage ein zauberhafter Film. Noch dazu einer, der in kein Genre wirklich passt. Reiner Baseballfilm passt genauso wenig zu 100%, wie Mysteriefilm, von allem etwas. Doch genauso, wie sich der Film nicht mit unnötigen Erklärungen über seine Zeitsprünge 80er in die 50er und zurück aufhält, genauso wenig schlenkert James Horner bei der Musik. Die Musik, die er Field of Dreams verpasst hat, ist herrlich ausgewogen, orchestral sehr facettenreich, wenn auch verglichen mit anderen Horner Scores wie Braveheart, Titanic oder Patriot Games ein eher unaufdringliches Werk. Was aber den Vorteil hat, man kann sie super zum Entspannen, Faulenzen oder Lesen hören.

Cet album est lié au film Jusqu'au bout du rêve, un Kevin Coster alors au sommet à ce moment (il sort de Danse avec les loups et Robin des Bois). La musique vous transporte et recrée l'atmosphère du film qu'il faut bien avoir vu.

今までで一番好きな映画。不動の第一位。曲を聴くだけで、その世界に入り込め、鼻唄も十八番。とにかく、映画のままの満足のサントラです。１０００円もしないで買えてしまって、なんだか申し訳ないですが…最高に嬉しい買い物でした。

Purchased as new and it arrived well within the stated time frame. I am disappointed with the packaging as the CD case was cracked upon receipt in the top right hand corner 2" down the right hand side 2". Don't know who responsible so that is reason for my grading, although a stronger package is worth considering I believe. I will not review the CD as it is a soundtrack and you should really know what and why you are purchasing. I will state the reproduction is good and I am very pleased with the product.
