OH MY GOD !!!
this schinken takes me back to my grandfathers back in germany many many years ago when i was just a small child. this is excellent tasting, a little salty, silky, melting on your tongue, and excellend seasoned. we are already on number two and it has to last until the end of fall. it is to hot where i live to order during the summer, so our refrigerators are full. this product is excellent, but it has to be cut very thin, a large meatcarver knife is best. takes a little praxis, i dont worry about getting each slice perfect, its more important to just have thin slivers. the end pieces that have more fat on it, cut in cubes for scrambled eggs, throw in fried potatoes or soups as flavoring, one of the best product on amazon.

Excellent quality! PSA: White dots ≠ mold
Excellent quality prosciutto for a great price! The cure is consistent throughout the meat. The fat is buttery and tastes great sweet like good prosciutto should.I am a retired chef. I have sliced thousands of pounds of the highest quality Iberico (“Jamón Ibérico de Bellota”). Personally, I prefer the taste of prosciutto and as far as this prosciutto goes — it hits the spot! I will absolutely buy again. Prosciutto arrived very quickly and packed with ice packs. Very good packaging. Thanks guys!NOTE ON “WHITE DOTS”:Some people here complained that “white dots” of “mold” were on their ham. THIS IS NOT MOLD! This is most likely Tyrosine Crystals which are an amino acid. Tyrosine is GOOD! Crystals are sign of QUALITY MEAT & CURING! Please do not throw away your prosciutto because of this! It is a natural feature of good quality prosciutto.SHEEEN OF GREEN?: Also GOOD! Iridescent sheen of green is a phenomenon called birefringence. It occurs when the fibers align in a specific way to reflect and refract light that makes the meat appear metallic. If you see a metallic sheen on your prosciutto it is 100% safe to eat!

This is a beautiful cut of prosciutto Parma Negroni. I am so thrilled. That and it got here in just a few days. It was well packed . I will continue to utilize this vendor. Thank you Frank and Sal!!!

Exceeded expectations!!
After reading many of the reviews I was a little apprehensive about this order. The meat arrived well-packaged in cold packs in an insulated bag. It was a beautiful cut and I took it to our local deli and they thin sliced a portion of it for me for $6.00. Well worth that! The rest we vacuum-sealed again and stored in the coldest part of our fridge. Should be good for about forty days. Will have more sliced as we need it, and chunk some of it up for seasoning. Thanks for a great buy! We enjoyed it last night wrapped around cantaloupe and it has a lovely mellow flavor.

Tastes terrible
I bought this item for a special Italian Christmas Dinner. Our plans changed so I decided to open it and glad I did!First thing that hit me was the nasty smell, like rancid oil. It looked like Prosciutto but it did not smell like it. I cut into the meat to see if the meat tasted like the fat smelled…and it did. It had spoiled and is inedible. So glad I didn’t open it with guests in the vicinity. Disgusting. Very disappointed that it is not returnable or refundable. Do not buy in my humble opinion. A lot of money to throw in the trash
