The delivery took about a week, so that was fine. The install was a breeze and it worked great. My 17 year old unit was slowly getting louder and then stopped working. This unit is now very quiet.

This replacement fan assembly was very easy to install and much quieter than some fans we've had. It was much easier to replace just the fan assy than to replace the entire fan, which would have involved going into the attic to remove the old fan and then install the new one and reattach the duct to it.

Unit has NuTone branding... one might assume this is an OEM assembly. Fits and performs as the original.

When my bathroom fan starting making incredibly loud plane-taking-off-noises (and the fact that I couldn't just have the light on as it's a light/fan combo on one switch), I had to decide to try to fix it, or take showers by candlelight. Let me first state that I'm NOT that handy - I can put up shelving pretty well (I can make things pretty level, and the shelves rarely collapse later on), but I'm timid around electrical components. First, I went to try to clean this thing out - I turned off the breaker and then took apart a few screws to expose the fan - it was incredibly dusty. I cleaned it the best I could and then reassembled it (disassembly and reassembly took no longer than 10 minutes combined). Alas, after initially noticing an improvement, it soon reverted to headache inducing noise.So, I took it apart again and this time took photos of the model and serial number. I pulled up the info on Amazon and was pleased to see that replacement fans that looked exactly like mine were available - and at 1/10th of the cost of having the thing replaced by a professional. So, I ordered it, received it two days later thanks to my prime membership, and installed it in about 5 minutes. And Hallelujah it worked with no terrible noise! At one point I had to slightly readjust the whole fitting (with my bare hand) to minimize some vibration, but all is well now.I'm surprised (Pleasantly) that this was readily available and so easy to install. If you're nervous about dealing with this type of stuff, I'm telling you that if I can do it, and if you have even just a tiny bit of handyman ability, you can also do it.

Took me about 15 minutes to swap the unit out, most of which were spent on cleaning the light cover and fan housing.This is a self serving unit which both light and fan have their own electric plugs, which makes so easy. You do not need to turn off the fuse. Just unplug and replug the new unit in.

The metal housing didn't fit in unit(probably my fault when ordering). I was able to swap out the motor from the assembly though with my old bracket and it works perfectly. Saved me a ton of money and headache.

I had to change the motor to the old mounting plate as the new mounting plate was too large. This was thecheapest way to fix the problem otherwise I would have had to hire a electrician to install a new exhaust fan.

Drop in replacement for Broan exhaust fan. Install literally took maybe 3 minutes start to finish. Fit was perfect and no more noisy rattling fan. Would definitely purchase again and given the environment bathroom fans operate in, most likely need to purchase again in the years to come.

We had been searching in all the stores for this replacement motor. Unfortunately we have been told that the model has been discontinued and we will need to replace the whole unit, which would’ve been such a pain. We were so happy that this was available and was so easy to install. Love that it works perfectly and even quieter than our original one.

This unit fit perfectly into my bathroom fan shell. no cutting no extra wiring just one screw and plug it in. I think it is even quieter than when I installed the original fan over 10 years.

This base did not fit my fan but I took the motor and fan blades off and bolted them onto the old base. No drilling required as 2 bolts fit two holes exactly. Fan works great and is fairly quiet.

This is an original replacement for sure, perfect quality. I originally bought the unit because of a loud vibration. Unfortunately, it was not the motor but the lamp housing cover not sitting very well. The original was over 10 years old so I didn’t mind keeping the new unit anyways. Install was very easy. I would definitely recommend if you have this unit and need a replacement motor and fan unit.
