For the price the boots are fine. I wish they were softer. The tongue is not leather and it is not colored black. It looks ridiculous, so I used a magic marker and colored it in.

These paddock boots appear to be well made and feel substantial. The fit was exact and the boots are comfortable.

Very stiff. Cuts into calf. Not cushioned and leather is horribly rigid. Can't imagine what it would take to soften these up but my feet can't handle it.

Make sure you have duck tape!
DO NOT buy these boots! 1st pair fell apart when they got wet after about 3 months of using 3 to 4 times a week.. After sending pictures and leaving messages, 5 weeks later got a new pair. Wrong color. Said ok, I needed them and have black 1/2 chaps. They fell apart about with in 4 months . Only go to farm about 3 to 4 days a weeks, SPEND A LITTLE MORE MONEY!!! If you have someone to tack up your horse and don't set foot in the barn/puddles,dirt, poop or a stall, maybe.
