Excellent litter pan will buy again for extra bed- room
I love this. It’s sanitary and huge. I have a Maine coon that is 25 pounds. He’s like a medium size dog and needs a big litter pan. This does the job well!

The last litter box you will ever need to buy!
Sturdy stainless steel will last a lifetime. Does not absorb moisture, dirt or odors like plastic ones, much more sanitary. I use same plastic scooper so the metal will not get scratched. Easy to push the litter aside & wipe out soiled areas. Not smelly. My cat does kick out a little litter, but not more than usual & I don't mind sweeping it up. Got a small hand-held vacuum, but don't really need it. Kitty jumps in and out easily & we both like it! Not sure if I want a cover for it or not - I think kitty likes it open. I might try a clear plastic one if it becomes available, if not expensive. The litter box was a bit expensive, but very worth it. I soak the dirty scooper in a pail of water with a little bleach in it, as a reader suggested, when it gets dirty.

Best cat box I’ve tried
Large enough for my 20 pound cat . Doesn’t end up smelling like a plastic cat box. Easy to clean. Love it! Definitely would recommend it to others

The Purrrfect Replacement for Plastic Litterboxes
These litter boxes are exactly what they say they are. They are easy to clean, and a great size for my three cats. They do not smell, and the only reason why I would notice odors is if the litter is old, or my cat just got done going to the restroom. My wife and I have replaced all three of our plastic litter boxes with these litter boxes. My biggest complaint is that the adhesive for the sticker on the front of the box was NOT easy to get off. I will use my wife's hair dryer to melt the adhesive to easily remove stickers, but this sticker was just not having it. Tried as I might, the paper would tear some but remain on the front, mocking me. It finally took a power washer to fully strip off the sticker. I used it when I was cleaning out the litter box. Otherwise, there was no getting this sticker off.I would recommend as an inexpensive alternative to a plastic litterbox. Just be prepared to never get rid of the sticker unless you have a power washer or other means of getting it off.

REALLY nice kitty litter box!
I researched for several weeks different types of kitty litter boxes. I knew I did not want plastic - I knew I wanted stainless steel or aluminum. I actually contacted a local steel/aluminum fabrication facility to make one as I try hard to utilize local manufacturing; however, they could not accommodate. AND, I prefer to buy only products made in USA, and found I was faced with a dilemma - I could not find one. I decided to check this product out. Some reviewers stated it was made in USA, and others indicated the one they received was made in China. Mine unfortunately, was made in China, but I was left with no other option. I needed two extra-large litter boxes and I did not want plastic. So having said all this, I do like them. I have only two gripes: 1) Can’t we make something like this in the USA??? and.... 2) WHY THE STICKERS?! It took paint thinner to remove them! Some reviewers mentioned the difficulty in scooping the litter. I had no trouble, but I do use "clumping litter". The other thing I would like to mention, if I may, is ... regarding litter box odor.... if you feed your cat raw food - there is NO ODOR! REALLY! I was skeptical too, but for the purpose of trying to "save our sick kitty" I went out on a limb and tried a raw food diet (darwinspet.com). Our kitty who was on a path to heaven, has miraculously survived AND IS THRIVING - completely due to being on a raw food diet! The reason I mention this is, in addition to raw food being better for cats in general; a huge benefit to owners is NO LITTER BOX ODOR - REALLY!!!

Exactly as Advertised - Superior to Plastic
I finally broke down and invested in the extra large and deepest box, tired of replacing the plastic boxes every year or so. I use the deep litter method so the urine doesn't reach the bottom of the box and stick, my very large cat does seem to like to pee in corners so that is still a challenge to clean, but it is easier with the metal as I can tilt the box to move the litter from the area and then clean with a damp paper towel after scooping. With the plastic it was hard to tilt the full box and the litter/urine cement could never be removed with a paper towel. This box is strong and sturdy, and I fully expect it to last the lifetime of my cats and beyond. I'll be buying another for the upstairs today. I was concerned the box would be too tall for one of my cat as he is elderly so I have placed a piece of 2x6 in front of the box as a step to help him get in and out. Extremely happy with this purchase, just sorry it took me so long to do it.

Stainless Steel is the Best - But it also needs a removable hood!
I recently purchased this litter box because one of my cats had to get radioactive iodine therapy to cure her hyperthyroidism. When she came home from the hospital, she needed to be quarantined away from the other cats for two weeks, while the rest of the radioactivity was leaving her body through urine and feces and could be easily flushed down the toilet (using World's Best cat litter, which clumps and is flushable). I decided to purchase a litter box for her that would not absorb any of the radioactivity (as plastic might) and that could easily washed and reused later. I have to say that, because of this experience, I am now a convert to stainless steel litter boxes. The clumps did not stick to the bottom or sides of the litter box, which is often a problem with the plastic litter box that my other cats use. Because they don't stick, the litter box just stays cleaner. Additionally, the stainless steel doesn't scratch, stain, or absorb odors. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is that I the littler box should have the option of a removable hood. One of my other cats tends to spray urine high sometimes, thereby hitting the wall. I noticed that iPrimio makes a stainless steel litter box with removable enclosed sides that add an extra 6" of height. However, this might not be enough to protect my walls. So a removable plastic hood would make this an ideal littler box for all my cats.

Exactly right
This is the perfect size for a cat box for one cat. It is clean, sanitary, and never absorbs the way plastic does. It is also environmentally preferable and easy to keep clean. Highly recommended.
