Striped Marlin Half MountsFor many years Striped Marlin have been the target of many anglers throughout the Indo-Pacific Oceans and especially in locations such as Cabo San Lucas and Los Suenos. When up on the wall the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts times and material costs and therefore results in a lower selling price even though the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional mount. Striped Marlin Half Mount Painting Striped Marlin are quite often very dark coppery brown on their sides with dark blue shoulders that can have tints of teal. The most amazing feature of the striped marlin is their electric purple dorsal fin. They are also banded heavily with blueish vertical bands running the length of their body. We finish with a UV Protective Urethane clear coat. Installing Your Striped Marlin MountAll our half mounts are complete with a resin hanger attached to the backside that runs parallel to the ground. Hold the half mount up on the wall, drill in a couple screws or hammer in a couple nails where you would like it to be and then hang your new Blue Marlin half mount.
