My wife use this for her hands and works great for her. She uses this everyday and it has been awhile since I got this. Glad to say that there still a lot left for her to use. I was thinking at first that the price is a bit hefty for something like a block of wax, but I was surprised that it is equivalently reasonable for the time of use. I'm happy with the price and quantity offered. I'm not sure how the scented one smells like or how strong the aroma will be, this however is of course unscented and does not give off any smell at all. It takes a bit of time to melt it but that is not the wax problem but the equipment use to melt it. The use of it is not messy at all. It is when you're done with it that it could have those flakes of wax would be everywhere if you're not careful. Overall, this is a good therapeutic way to help on your finger joints specially if you have arthritis.

I bought a paraffin wax machine from Amazon but it didn't have enough wax in it. So I bought this wax to add it into what I already had. It melted together just fine.

Ordered on Prime so shipping was $0. I see at least a couple of people complaining about it being beads instead of blocks. I think this is true, it definately was not blocks. My recommendation for people who don't want beads is for them to order for delivery to Arizona. The bags that I received were essentially blocks by the time I received them. This stuff is VERY soft and melts at pretty low temperatures so just sitting on my doorstep on a 100 degree day was enough to convert them.I ordered them for my wife and kids who love using them in their spa. Old was was pretty dirty. I dumped the old, cleaned it, and replenished the unit. It was plenty full with 4 of the 6 bags, so I would expect that this quantity should be good for most users. Remember, it is unscented if you care.

I am an Occupational Therapist and have osteoarthritis. I have started using paraffin on both hands the last 6 months. I found this wonderful product. It’s viscosity is thicker than other paraffin. I’ve noticed it stays warmer longer on my hands. Truthfully, my pain in both hands decreased after I switched paraffin to this one. No one has paid me to review this product. I am not one to usually write reviews but this product really deserves the great review Plus, the price is perfect!
