John Deere Original Equipment Bolt #M137832

Expected aftermarket. Packaging was Deere though. Not that you can't counterfeit bags and printing logos and all, but it looks exactly like the one that broke off. Mine was for a LX255 PTO clutch, but it fits many models. I had bought a hardwarestore one that was only 3" and used a thinner washer just to get by until I could get this in. This came fast, fit, has been working fine for a couple of weeks. Wasn't sure how tight to put it in, but goodntight seems ok so far. why the original broke who can say. Had to reverse drill it and ezout it. I had repaired the clutch once before, but it seemed to still work, so didn't buy an aftermarket clutch. Though its top portion won't come off, (except the parts that broke and sprayed on the ground!) I had greased it good years ago, but it will still rust on solid. Wasn't worth it to me to beat on it again. Already epoxied the coils back together from age and cracking. Anyway, it's a bolt. Head did have the right strength ratings. And it worked.

My PTO clutch and crank bolt shattered from my deere GT235. The local dealer did not have the crank bolt and I found it here. I got it in 2 1/2 days and mower is up and running.

Advertised as a grade 5 bolt, but has 6 lines on head. I believe that makes it a grade 8. Any how, maybe jd improved on it over time.

Altogether way to expensive for what it is - but it's a quality part that fits/works right.
