Probably the cleanest dash cam available
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. After trying many dash cams I think I found my favorite one. The VAVA is a perfect blend of simplicity and utility. They provide you with all the tools you need to install the camera in a super clean and tidy way. Lots of cabling provided so you won’t run short. So whether you have a Miata or a Denali, you’ll be good. The app is really well design and when connected you can see both cameras with a picture in picture setup. But when reviewing footage you will get a separate clip for the front and the back which is super handy. Install is just a little time consuming since you need to take time to map out where you will send the wire but it’s straight forward. The fact that there is no screen also is a nice thing in my opinion since it’s a) not a distraction and b) one less thing for thieves to look for. It simply looks like a part of the mirror assemble. The system powers on automatically and records with an audible sound and the camera is connected with a magnet. That is one of my favorite features. So if you do happen to leave your car in a sketchy area, you can quickly detach the camera and put it in the glove box. Also, it allowed it to swivel if you need to quickly change the angle of the camera. Very solid setup.

Okay at best.
This product is... okay. Honestly, it's better than not having a camera at all. I bought this to replace the mirror camera that I previously had just because I wanted to downsize. The mirror camera had a rear view camera, so of course I had to buy the VAVA package that included a rear view camera. Needless to say it works and does what it is advertised to do, however don't let the advertising make this product seem like the best dash cam on the market because it certainly is not.My main problem with this product is that it does not work well with Android 9 Oxygen. At least, that is my conclusion after trying to get my phone to work with this camera in the app. My phone will connect to the Wi-Fi signal and the app will work, but in order to get the app to connect to the camera I have to turn off my cellular data. That just seems sketchy to me why they can't make the camera connect to the app while cellular data is turned on. I can use any other no internet Wi-Fi signal while my cellular data is turned on and not have any issues. Another issue I found is that you cannot preview the videos before downloading them, and you have to download the video in order to watch the video. This would be a real headache if you are trying to show a video to police at the scene of an incident and have to download several videos before you can view them. Of course you could take out the SD card and plug it into a PC or your phone, but that would still be an inconvenience. The download speed takes roughly two minutes, which I find too long. My last issue I have is the emergency recording function. Once a new video starts, and you collide with something, that new video is stopped and cut on a separate emergency video. It's hard to explain, but basically if you hit something you will have two separate videos that are cut; 1 video ends with whatever you hit, and the second video starts with whatever you hit. So if you wanted to view the whole incident, you would need to edit the videos and mash them together into one video.Despite the things that I don't like about this camera, it seems very well built and fits exactly what I needed for downsizing. It was also easy to install, except for routing all the cables which is always a headache. The videos are nice and the main camera has good night vision. The rear camera does not have good quality in dark environments, but I don't believe it was designed to be. Once in the app, and you are connected to the camera, the app has a lot more settings and preferences than my other dash cam had so that makes this camera better in my mind. The G sensor works quite well on this camera, even when I open the door to my car it will turn on and record. Even someone, who's park next to me, slamming their car door triggers the G sensor and the camera will record. This particular camera unfortunately does not support the GPS module that VAVA makes.I think what will be the most worth it to me is to have a separate camera for the interior of my car, and one that works completely through my phone (direct uploading and preview). As I said, having this camera is better than not having this camera. You would never think you needed a camera until you get in an accident that is not your fault and is blamed on you. So go ahead and get this to start with.10/25/2019 UPDATEI purchased a device that connects an SD card to my USB-C port on my phone. This allows me to transfer footage much quicker than the app and I can preview the footage before I transfer it. Unprecedented & Amazing Customer Service!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The VAVA Dual Dashcam is a high-quality dashcam setup. The video quality of both cameras is impressive in daylight and nighttime scenarios. Shortly after purchasing the unit, I had the windshield in my car replaced and experienced complications with the remounting process. I submitted an inquiry to the customer service team regarding the problem I was experiencing. I was contacted immediately by Gemma with the Customer Service team. Gemma addressed my issue directly and supplied me with a replacement unit the next day. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of this customer service experience and the promptness of Gemma resolving my issue. The entire process was hassle-free and was handled with the most professional interaction I’ve ever had with a customer service team. I am a very satisfied customer for sure. I wish every interaction with stores and sellers could be this fulfilling. Five stars for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, and two thumbs way up!!! 👍👍

1st review from Australia...
This is my 2nd purchase of the dash camera. I searched all different types but nothing beats the video quality and app functionality. Easy setup and user friendly. Live view with PiP viewing partnered with a 128gb sd card I get a full day's worth of recordings. Overall installation took about 45min to install. For the price and features it's up there with the top brands like Blackvue and Thinkware.

Great Camera, Short cords for my SUV
I’m very happy with the quality of this camera, it has exceeded my expectations. The only complaint I have with this cameras is the cords are a little too short for my SUV. I had to spend another $35 for extension cables which is a lot on top of the already $200 camera.

Well put together product
Clean packaging and easy setup. Size is actually quite discrete when placed behind the windshield mirror. Enjoyed the fact that it doesn't require hardwiring for the parking mode ability.
