Papa, Do You Love Me?

Wonderful story for children about unconditional love, set in the Masai tribe of Africa. I love this presentation because of the message every child needs to hear and the exposure to other cultures that we all need to remind us that the world is bigger than just the world we know. Beautiful illustrations, great story, global awareness - how many books can do all that for a child!?!

This is such a cute book, nice illustrations, clear, straightforward storyline, without being dull. My son refuses to read it after the first time, I don't know why. But hopefully we'll have years to try to have him warm up to it

This is just the sweetest book. The 'Mama Do You Love Me' book is just as good though I think this one was first. Talk about making your child feel loved and safe!!! Every kid should have this book read to him by his Papa...

We have the Mama do you love me book and it’s really one of our favorite books. So we have this for part of our Father’s Day gift to hubs. It’s so beautiful and will be loved like the first book.

This book gives a message of unconditional love of parents to children, and also shows that relationship in a culture that's probably different from that of most of it's audience. What a great way to show we are all more alike than different, and that our differences are wonderful and interesting, not threatening.

Good follow up book to Mama, Do You Lovd Me? Also provides vocabulary and insight into another culture.

This book is good. I like the view from a different culture, but my son seems to prefer the Mama book.My son got Mama Do You Love Me first and that book is better, in my opinion. I just like the way the story flows more than this one. I also think that it is more relatable for my child, at least, even if it is also written in the view of another culture.

Illustrations excellent, the message -parental love transcends barriers and forgives missteps - comes across well.

Liebe lässt sich durch nichts erschüttern. Und muss immer wieder hinterfragt werden. Gerade von Kindern. Wenn die Antworten so schön sind, wie in dem Buch, kann eigentlich nichts mehr schief gehen. Für alle Söhne und Papas.

Ein sehr schönes und feinfühliges Buch!

I like it, my son not as much, every now and then he'll ask for it. If you want to bring diversity into their reading time, that's a good one.
