Heat Wave Visual Lazer Face Z87 Sunglasses

I’ve worn Nemesis safety glasses that have either been provided or I have purchased my own since I entered the trades. I always held them as the gold standard for safety glasses. I’ve used clear, smoked, yellow and tinted depending on environment and task.About a year ago, one of my coworkers (both of us were railcar inspectors) bought a pair of Lazer Face glasses and absolutely loved them. He was always swapping arms, lenses and nose pieces. Before long he had like 5 different complete sets. We use to mess with him for wearing ‘ski goggles’. One day he had me try a pair on and I was very impressed with the feel, weight, and coverage. But not enough to get a pair.Fast forward, I went back to construction and back to being outdoors for 80% of the day. My previous pair of tinted nemesis were due for retirement. My family and I were also heading out for a lake vacation. I didn’t want to take a chance of loosing my Polarized Ray-Bans to the gods, nor did I want to wear non-polarized sunglasses on the water. So I decided to finally get some Lazer Faces.I wish I would have done this sooner. These are shockingly light, super comfortable, and look great! I would definitely say that the lens quality is on par with my Ray-Ban oversized aviators. I was hesitant (about half an hour before writing this review) and not completely sold on the polarization. It seemed nonexistent until I actually got in the sun. Now I am completely sold. The subdued American flag on the arms of these SOCOM’s is stunning. I can’t get over how lightweight these feel on my face for the size and coverage.These are super versatile and I am genuinely looking forward to wearing these to work.I thought it was crazy to drop this amount of money on safety glasses. But I know it will make me more aware of what I am doing with them and force me to take better care of them too. No more tossing my safety glasses around in my vehicle, tool bags or tool box. Or not paying attention to where I sat them down.I will update as i actually use them in the field.

My hunny loved these glasses so much that he wanted a new pair a year later. The previous ones he wore to work and they just got scratched from working on different job sites. Good looking glasses and the new pair are his "weekend wear" glasses. :)

The glasses are high quality, the lens polarization is top notch, it has the desirable slightly yellow tint to the lens shading, versus other brands that make all colors through them dull and gray. These shades maintain a good spectrum and hue. Everything still looks bright, vibrant, and detailed but has the light intensity and glare reduced.

My favorite glasses, they have held up to drops, being hit with debris, and being sat on.

I like that these are stylish and accepted at my work as safety glasses I have the protective side shields they really protect my eyes and look somewhat good

You'll have to order sideshields from the original manufacturer to comply at most jobsites. These things fit amazing and are crystal clear. Very durable. Don't bother with PoopVipers

Build quality, fit, polarization are all excellent, above and beyond what I expected to receive.These make a great alternative to Pit Vipers to complete a summer look.

I rock these puppies at the mine sites I work at.Often I get asked if I am a fighter jet pilot, or where I got the "cooler" set of pit vipers.I love the fit, the nose feel and hiding my disappointed gaze as I show up to the worksite behind a cool coloured irridescent shield.10/10
