B0049HB3F6 RAW Shelled Peanuts 50 Lb, Multicolor

I used to buy a 50lb bag of these once a month or less for the birds and squirrels and other critters, this time the peanuts are completely different than the past, in the picture you can see the larger peanuts that had the skin removed that was the end of the old bag and the new bag which is the tiny little peanuts that seem hard as a rock with the skin on them. Not sure why they went from one product to another but the quality is not that good, that was where they used to rate the best was the quality now it’s like comparing steak to McDonald’s. I’ll be looking for a new brand. Too much money to pay for a garbage product.Update after leaving these out for the wildlife for the first time ever the squirrels and birds didn’t eat all the peanuts as a matter of fact they were still there the next morning which means the raccoons and possums didn’t even eat them.

This product arrived timely and in good condition by squirrels. Love it.

I use these in my squirrel feeder so keep the squirrels stay away from the bird feeders. Needless to say these are a big hit! I used to buy the unshelled peanuts but found these for the same price and decided to give them a go. The best part is I don’t have to fill up my feeders as often because they use up less room without the shells (duh!). A little expensive but the cheapest I could find on Amazon. Haven’t looked in local feed store to compare prices, however, so this may be an acceptable price.Highly recommend to keep your squirrel friends happy and out of those bird feeders!!

Shelled to make it less messy to feed the Squirrels.....no shell carcasses lying around.

Arrived on time and in a bag and box. Just as described. Squirrels and birds love them. However, the red skins are all over the deck. Peanuts I've bought before didn't have them and I'll look for those next time.

We feed year-round, usually order in Dec./March.50lb's each time.

This is a great buy for this item. My outdoor wild critters love them. I can't rate the taste cuz they are for critters only and they seem to approve the taste. They are packaged very well and arrive quickly. They are in halves. I have chipmunks, squirrels, and a couple of different birds that eat them.

I buy these a couple times a year. Store them in airtight plastic tubs. Usually freeze about 1/2 upon arrival. I just feel that helps keep the nuts fresher. I have never had bug or pest infestation in my stored peanuts. Favorites to woodpeckers in my local area. Squirrels love love love them, so I must keep baffles on my feeders to stop the squirrels.
