I bought this bag to keep the dust off of the dresses that I don't wear very often, and am very pleased to see that I can probably easily fit four dresses in it. The zipper works well, it appears to be sewn carefully and straight, and I don't mind the light weight material that a few others find objectionable because I don't want something that is heavy and takes up more space than needed to protect my dresses. The fabric is 100% polyester, and it appears to allow some air to circulate instead of sealing everything up tight like plastic would do, and I think that is a very good feature. I also like the clear plastic window sewn into the top on one side so I can see at least one dress without unzipping it. This obviously is not meant to be a travel garment bag, although you could use it to hand carry a garment to a special event. If you are in need of a garment bag for travel, this is not it. I am pretty sure this garment bag is primarily designed for protection of garments in storage.

I would not recommend this bag for air travel. First, the light color would get dirty in a minute and second, it'd probably get ripped. That said, this is a perfect garment bag for storage...and for me...keeping hanging clothes organized during car travels. It's well made, looks great, holds a good many pieces, and has a nice see through window. And oh I forgot, its front facing zipper makes it a breeze to put clothing in. I don't think its material is not water repellent, so if having to transport from car during heavy rain, might run into problems.

I ordered 5 garment bags. I am very pleased with them. I have used all of them for wedding dresses. The plastic on the top is clear. The zippers work great, not heavy duty. The hanger opening is reinforced. They have a nice amount of room inside. The length is a good size. I would definitely buy more of these if I needed them.

this review isn't so much about the product itself as it is the "shipper" (if I can call it that) and the manner in which it was delivered. But first the product. I'm not dissapointed in the bags; they are made of not heavy, yet servicable, canvas fabric which ought to be sufficient for storage of garments in a bedroom closet (I'm not sure if they would hold up very well traveling), with a miniscule (!) sliver of cedar wood taped inside the bag to ward off all the creepy winged creatures that might have an appetite for your woolens. In short, the bags seem fine and I may even buy a few more. Now to the "shipping". The tracking said these were to be delivered by some arcane outfit called "prestige". Ever heard of them? Nor had I. They must be cheaper than UPS, and I can see why. Only a handfull of days after I had ordered, anda full four days earlier than the estimate arrival date, the tracking info claimed that the bags had been "delivered" (this was on a Friday afternoon). Not bad, you say? Only trouble was that, contrary to the tracking claim, the bags HAD NOT been delivered. At least not to MY house and as it turned out, I suspect not to anyone else's house. I decided that I'd wait until Monday or Tuesday to start complaining about the situation ( I knew I'd have to get a charge back from the bank as Amazon refuses to seriously discuss such things with their customers, prefering that corporate "Oh, so sorry, nothing we can do about it, te he, it's your problem buddy" line. Maybe the delivery driver got fed up with making deliveries on Friday and just marked the package as "delivered" then went off to his neighborhood watering hole that night and tipped back a few cold ones. Maybe he'd be back on Monday or Tuesday and get it right this time, or so I thought. Well, I wasn't too far off the mark. Today, Sunday afternoon, somebody comes tooling up our driveway in an old red car ( I didn't get a good look at him), apparently runs to the side door, throws the package between the doors and makes a hasty retreat again. Maybe he had more leftover Friday packages to deliver. Wow(!), this company is going places (as in Chapter 7?). But what really bugs me is Amazon. They actually hired these morons. It might not be so bad but they're using customers money to to do it! One more time like this and I'll go to a brick and mortar (if there are any left after the depression is over).

Perfect, just what I expected. I needed them for infrequently worn items like long gowns, a dress coat, a suit, etc to keep the dust out. They are quite long and easily accommodate long garments. We needed them at this point in time, immediately for a wedding to transport long gowns from one place to another without snagging the dresses. We put the shoes for the wedding in the bottom so they would not be lost or forgotten. The garment bags worked perfectly to keep us organized.. They've now been retired for storage as described above. I like the clear window at the top of the bag so I can see what is in the bag since we bought multiple bags. I also like the fact that the fabric the bags are made of is "breathable" and yet protects the garments within from dust. If you need moth protection I recommend getting cedar rounds to hang into the bags. They were not guaranteed for moths, so do not expect that. Overall I highly recommend this product and will order more in the future if I need more for storage.UPDATE: After reading other reviews I see comments about Cedar and moth protection. In the description of the "GOWN" size I do not see anything about Cedar Protection against moths. I wasn't expecting any so I'm totally satisfied with this product.

I bought this one because of the price. But I was surprised at the fine quality when it arrived. I only needed it for a formal dress. It housed not only the dress but there was room in the bottom for shoes and accessories also. I am happy with this product.

As noted from other reviews, the zippers on these bags are weak. I ordered 5 bags, and three had defective zippers - 2 I repaired, but one was returned as it could not be fixed. Surprisingly, the bags were packaged with the zippers not working correctly. So much for quality control. The bags are not bad, however, and hold two to three men's suites nicely without crowding. I don't think the zippers will stand up to much opening and closing, but I purchased these for long-term storage.

Bought this for a 51" academic gown. The garment bag is just the right length to hold the gown on its hanger without wrinkling at the bottom. Wide and deep enough to hold the gown, hood, and tam. Breathable fabric. Zipper is smooth.

Keeps my clothes nice & clean. Good quality.

Excellent garment bag.

I keep woolen dresses in this, and it seems to have protected them fine. The hole at the top is a bit big, but I wrapped tape around it and sprayed the bag with lavender. Dang clothes moths!

It works nicely. Not to sure how long it will last, kinda thin material but with the price I won't mind if I have to buy another for my dresses
