Needs intense heat, not for thin material
I tried using this for an aluminum ac line. The wire would not flow. Material was so hot, it melted before the alum wire did. Put wire on torch, melted as it should. If you're using it for larger material, might work. Like other reviewer stated, it needs some intense heat. It's in the trash and went different route with repair

Not what I needed.
Would not melt at 500 degrees. Was told it would work to solder tabs on NiCad batteries but did not. Now is a paper weight. But I assume I made a mistake.

Didn't work for me
My experience was not good. I was trying to repair a broken cast aluminum part on an old jukebox. I applied the flux and wire as instructed, but the flux did not appear to work at all and the wire just melted and stayed in a ball on top of the aluminum - it would not flow and bond to the aluminum. I will have to admit that I am not a metal worker and perhaps this product did not fit my application. In any case, I won't be placing another order for this stuff.

Didn't work at all
very poor brazing. It didn't seem to conduct heat well at all. Instead of creating a pool of metal it would break a piece off, but not melt.
