Body Armor 4x4 TJ-19531black - Steel Front Winch Bumper for Jeep Wrangler Yj and TJ Winch not Included

This bumper was exactly what I was looking for. It seemed a little small when I first installed it and took a step back. I am very satisfied with it. Very thick and strong construction. I like how it uses all six mount bolt holes that come factory on the jeep. Just a little hint, you may have a tough time getting the bumper to slide all the way on the two main channel iron beams that run long ways in the jeep frame. I just took a piece of rubber and put it up against the front of shackle ring and bumped it a few times with a hammer. Anyways great bumper, and can't wait to get my warn winch put on it.

Bumper is very heavy duty. I was kind of disappointed with the shipping as the d-ring mounts were sticking through the box. I know the bumper is heavy and was probably slid around a lot through out the shipping causing this. There were no d-rings with the bumper. Also there were no bolts to mount the bumper to the frame so I just used the factory bolts. The bumper is a little wide from top to bottom where it mounts to the frame so I had to use metal shims on the bottom so it would be nice and tight. Some of the texture was chipped off of the bar that goes over the wench but nothing a little spray paint won't take care of. Over all I really like it and would purchase it again. For the price you pay for this, it's worth the little issues.

This bumper offered me what I needed, a decent piece of steel to sit my winch in, recovery shackle points, and affordability. The bolt on hoop was stronger than I anticipated and the included steering box skid plate was a home run. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because I park curbside at times and my winch fairway would be the first point of contact with someone who can't parallel park. In Jersey we use front license plates and I had to squash it in betweenthe fairway and bumper. Ground clearance is fine, looks great and the fit was hassle free. Some reviews criticized the welds, but they look fine to me. There are 4 mounting points for light; two on the hoop and one on each end of the bumper as illustrated. Great job Body Armor!

Solid bumper with tremendously easy install. It bolted onto my 94 YJ like it had always been there. It actually took longer to get the original bumper off (probably because it was horribly mangled). Furthermore, its rock solid. I've used it to yank heavy tree stumps with a winch and a running start, and it didn't skip a beat (which is coincidentally why I needed a new bumper (and winch) in the first place). I've leaned the jeep into a tree with it, and it shows no signs of wear or deflection. Great bumper.

This is a very nice bumper for the money. I had no issues installing the bumper or the winch on the bumper. The welds are nice and clean, and the included steering box skid plate is a nice bonus. The powder coating is pretty good and is holding up nicely. The built in shackle mounts are nice and sturdy. I like that the bumper has 4 light mounting spots, very well thought out design. I will definitely recommend this bumper to my Jeep buddies.

I recommend it, however Beware! This bumper will NOT work with after market sway bars like AntiRock without being modified (1.5" cutouts needed). In my opinion, Body Armor should note major incompatibilities in their product information. The frame mounting holes were very slightly off. I did not have to redrill or widen the holes, but the bottom bolts did need to be 'forced' in. The fit and finish were excellent and its a good value. Overall, I am happy with Body Armor. I will probably be purchasing their back bumper soon.

I love this bumper. It looks great and held up better than the rest of my Jeep in a huge accident. The bumper cut right through the other car's door and only got a few scratches. Not a dent on it. The powder coat didnt chip or scrape off either. It protected my winch from getting wrecked and saved my fog lights. It was amazing! I would definitely buy this again.

Very nice looks great installed. the metal is good quality very solid. easy to read instructions installed in about an hour or so. The only problem I have with this product is I was missing the shackles and the box it was shipped in was pretty beat up when I received it so not sure if the shackles were never put in the box or lost in shipping either way sucks. other than that I'm happy with this bumper.
