Sleek and Simple hardwire kit.
The hardwire kit works very well for the Crosstour dash cam kit I purchased. Installation was easy as soon as I found which fuse to use. I ended up using the security fuse so my dash cam runs 24/7. Finding a ground for it was simple too. Hard wire kit works, dash cam works without taking up an outlet. That’s all I expected from this kit. Priced fair at around $14. The only thing that was a challenge with this kit is squeezing the mini to micro usb adaptor and the relay into the headliner and the A-pillar. Other than that, it’s a good buy.

Cord causes radio interference
I bought this product twice--once for a dash camera on a Subaru Ascent, and then again for a dash cam on a Subaru Outback. There weren't really any directions, so I used YouTube videos to figure out how to ground the wire and where to run it. One initial problem with the second product was that it was missing the extra orange fuses, so I had to use an extra fuse that came with the Outback. After about a month, I realized that one of the local radio stations was losing reception in both cars. I thought that it was something on the station's end until I traveled to another city and had reception trouble with another station that used to be strong. I ultimately figured out that while the camera was plugged in with this cord, some type of interference was being produced, but it stopped when using the original cord that came with the camera. I assume that it is a poorly shielded cable. The original power cords for the cameras are visibly thicker than this product. The return window passed for the first one, but I returned the second one just in time and am back to using the original cord. One day, I might get a 12 volt adapter that connects to the tap fuse and just toss the original cable, but for right now I am living with poor radio reception in the Ascent.

Handy to ease any usb hardwired installation.
I like the options this kit comes with. I used it to wire up a dvr kit for my son's truck. It comes with fuse taps for 5 different fuse types. I tried to use the mini fuse connector and it did not fit in my specific application on am 01 ranger as I could not fit it into the fuse panel and even if I could I would not have been able to fit the panel. I ended up using a spade connector for the fuse panel connection after the fuse so I had protection. If it had worked it would have meant no connectors needed. I have used these fuse panel adaptors before and almost all applications have required some trimming but I never got this one to fit.I like the connector to the dvr being straight. Most are angled and it seems always the wrong way. This means no more adjustments. I also loved that it came with a mini to micro usb adaptor so now if I change units I wont need to rewire.I would buy it again for the next one just so I dont have to crimp wiring every time.

Would work fine for 24 hour surveillance
This is actually quite easy to install, and does work when connected properly. However, it only allows for the camera to constantly be turned on, even if the add a fuse is plugged into a slot that is only supposed to be hot when the car is on. I'm not sure if this is intentional, or is an issue with quality. Either way, I don't need or want my dashcam to be on constantly even when parked, as I would rather not have it drain my battery. I know this is supposed to have a feature to prevent that, but I'm not willing to test that when I need my car to go to work in the morning. Item returned.

Super easy to install. No soldering required.
Awesome little kit. Loved the adapters so there is no soldering required whatsoever. Literally just gotta find what fuse you wanna plug in. This kit even comes with several adapters to use to ensure you get one that fits. Would recommend.

Painless install, works great, great price
Replaced the stock adapter that came with my mirror dash cam. Fuse bypass came with plenty of options and fit my 2017 Elantra. Even included an extra fuse which was super nice. The cable was plenty long enough to reach my mirror and then able to get to my fuse box. I was really glad there was just the right amount to reach every thing with not too much left over. Easy to install and everything is included. The electronics fit nicely under my dash and were easy to conceal. This adapter was cheaper and a better value because of everything included

Works as intended and good for beginners imo
Set came with a bunch of fuses of different sizes and the installation was easy. The clips don't stick well to porous surfaces so I had to stick them onto glass and it worked fine. The cable length is more than enough. I've used this product to connect my fuse box underneath my dashboard to my dashcam for the past month and a half and never had issues starting my car so I assume the voltage cutoff works fine.I didn't need a parking mode and just needed the dashcam to turn on with ACC. This product was fine and good for beginners since it had multiple sizes for fuses and connectors.

works perfect
full install kit made it very easy to install, I used this kit to hardwire a Pruveeo F5 dash cam in my 2006 Chevy Avalanche. put the add-a-fuse in the ignition fuse slot so now the dash cam starts/stops with the truck. no issues regarding the "mode select" as I hear some other kits suffer from.only con was the mini-USB plug, more like an isoceles rectangle than a traditional Mini-USB, it was slightly difficult to plug into the camera but a little wiggling and it went in and worked.
