There are many companies making Fish Oil these days. When we began research into creating our own formula, we started by looking at the vast number of scientific studies performed over the past 40 years to make a formula based on what is proven to be the best and most effective ingredients and processes in manufacturing. We only use anchovies because they are classified by the NRDC as the safest fish to consume. We molecularly distill the oil to remove impurities which is more expensive than using solvents to remove them. Solvents leave a chemical residue in the oil and make it go rancid much faster, so even though it is cheaper, it leaves you with a low quality product. We use natural lemon flavoring to remove any fishy aftertaste rather than deodorizing it. Deodorization is a method that involves using high pressure and high temp steam that is blasted through the oil. It is effective but it damages the carbon chains in the fatty acids leaving you with a damaged, low quality product. Then, to make our oil even higher quality and bringing it into the premium side of the market, we added a blend of antioxidants to boost your immune system plus added a third essential Omega-3 fatty acid called ALA. Now with all that said, there are still a few other companies that offer a premium fish oil like ours, but they charge a lot for it. In fact, one of our competitors with a similar formula that has the closest price to ours is still nearly double what we have set our price at. Being a part of our customers' health is exciting to us and we want more of the population to be able to afford a premium product like this. That is why we have a very competitive price. When you think about one bottle being a 3 month supply and divide the price by 3 months, the monthly cost of our fish oil is one of the best on the market today.
