We bought these to decorate the windows of our van for the Ragnar (a 200 mile running relay). We followed the directions exactly and found that it took a considerable time to get the color to the tip of the marker. Be patient - it will eventually come. The markers worked OK for a while, but when used outdoors in the sun, the "ink" starts to dry on the tip making it harder to use with each use. Drawing in layers (ink on top of ink) does not work well. Better do what you need to do in one pass or it gets sloppy. It almost seems to erase the layer below on secondary passes.The color erases easily when applied to glass - too easily actually. If you barely brush against the dried color, it will rub off on your clothes.We will not be using these markers to decorate our Ragnar van again.

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE USE! I love these bright colored chalk markers. Like many have stated, beware of what items you use them on. I had originally purchased them for use on chalkboard paint which I used to cover the inside of my old cupboards. I wrote all over my cupboards, only to discover upon removal that a light permanent mark stays behind. I had to repainted over each one, after using a q-tip dipped in acetone to remove the chalk. I learned to always read directions or reviews before going wild with experimentation. I have used them on an old chalkboard and also they work great on glass and mirrors. Just test a tiny strip before painting the town.

Very impressed with these! We have a mirror finish type erasable marker board that we use daily... Family notes, numbers, shipping lists, memos etc. I s using some erasable chalk markers that I bought at the store. They were running out, so I ordered this brand as a replacement. I will absolutely continue to purchase this brand. The colors are very bright and vibrant (even the white) and clean up (residue) alot cleaner than the others. I want even aware that I had poor quality ones, until these arrived and showered me what they should be like.

These are the worst! I made a chalk board that these stained, I thought : the box said non-porous, that was probably my bad. So I went a bought a real chalk board, wrote on it and wiped it off an hour later. No problem! So I wote my cute sign and went to change it a week later and the stupid chalk will not come off! Now I've lost 2 chalk boards and the 17 bucks for the chalk. Don't buy this unless you want heart ache

I got these because it claims there is a chisel tipped. They are when they arrive but you have to press down on the tip to get the ink to come to the top. So it smashes the tip. Also the white tip was broken, I git it to work but it draws 2 lines instead on one. The green displayed is a completely different green than in the box also the yellow is so light it barely shows up on the chalkboard. I'm very disappointed in this product!

I have to guess that the people who wrote the 5 & 4 star reviews have yet to try taking this chalk marker off their black board. These have completely ruined three black board signs I created for a birthday party as well as an entire black board wall which will now need to be repainted. The product looks great until you try to "erase" it. The cleans off easily with water is not anywhere close to the truth. DON'T BUY if you plan on only needing what you write on a short term basis.

worked great for some custom painting on a snowmobile hoodeasy to use let it dry good and then clear coat and it has very good durability

These markers are fantastic, I have a chalk board on my door and I am able to leave messages out on it and change them all the time and they never bleed or change color .
