Great workhorse - make a few modifications before use
I purchased this to save our backs in tilling 2 acres for crops this spring. Came in a big box dropped at our front door. Nothing was bent or damaged (vs what some other reviewers mentioned). You have to attach the drive wheels, and the handle bars (which is a preassembled 'hoop'. Then you have to add oil (provided) and gas (not provided obviously).UPGRADES: I swapped out the cheap plastic oil dipstick (fill plug) with a magnetic one (from amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B1KWRJH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), andadded a 'hour meter'. Similar to this one on amazon (https://www.amazon.com/NKTECH-Motorcycle-Snowmobile-Waterproof-Tachometer/dp/B073V4C7GZ/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=motor+hour+meter&link_code=qs&qid=1587668400&sourceid=Mozilla-search&sr=8-5).Another thing I did was in regards to handlebar. It comes with 4 nuts and 4 bolts. 2 sets go on left vertical, 2 sets go on right vertical. following so far? Instead I installed 1 set on left and 1 set on the right, and in place of the second set on each side I used a locking pin (similar to amazons https://www.amazon.com/YaeMarine-Locking-Coupler-Retainer-Trailers/dp/B082XWSFCY/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=pto+pin&qid=1587669069&sr=8-9)This allows me to remove the pins and fold the handle bars down for more compact storage. Handle 'loop' rotates forward around axis created by single set of bolts on either side. Make sense? I also had a plastic storage tote that I use for a cover when not in use. Works better than a tarp. Anyway started up 2nd pull. It has an on/off switch on the handlebar to turn off, and a fuel cutoff switch for storage. I wish the fuel line was longer to be able to accomodate a fuel filter but cant have everything.FINAL THOUGHTS:Thought for a machine costing almost $700 that the houl meter and magnetic drain plug would have been included but for $10 each it wasn't much of an upgrade cost. And I had the coupler pins already so...Ive used it for approx 2 hrs so far tilling, and retilling areas. Had to fill up gas tank once. Happy with the purchase.

Way too many issues
Wish I could tell you how great this tiller works, but unfortunately, I never got to use mine. The delivery was great. As soon as I unboxed the tiller, I noticed multiple cosmetic issues. I actually wondered if the unit I received was refurbished. Aside from the scuff marks, there were grease blobs in multiple areas and some of the parts definitely looked worn. But the big issue was a "fold" in the metal of the body. This distorted the rear of the tiller, causing the back flap to tilt and prevented the left side guard from being attached. I called Amazon and they offered me a 20% discount for the body damage. A local small engine repair guy was able to bend the metal (it's thick metal, so not something you can just work out with some pliers) just enough to make the side guard fit. You would not want to operate a tiller without guards! So finally, the tiller was assembled (despite some printing errors in the manual that were seriously confusing!), I added oil and gas and it started right up. Since it was late, I didn't actually get to till, but was excited to do so the next day. Walked outside and immediately smelled gas. It had all leaked out of the tank overnight. Put some more gas in and could see the fuel gushing out by some knob in the front that wasn't even labeled in the owner's manual. I called Amazon again, this time to just return the unit and they said it was considered hazardous waste and they couldn't take it back. They refunded my money, but remember I paid someone to fix the body from the discount they gave me, which means I took a net LOSS on this purchase. And I'm stuck with a 175 lb non-working tiller that I now either have to try and get repaired or pay someone to haul away. I'd say just buy a tiller locally, where you can inspect it and easily return if it has issues. This was probably my worst Amazon experience.

Making garden tilling easy.
There is nothing negative to say about this product. It surpasses the performance I had with my previous rear tyne tiller. It tilled with ease turning dirt clods into powder. It tilled through weeds with little effort. It's unique wheel design pulls the tiller easily...all I do is guide it! It's forward and reverse levers eliminates the old gear shift making it very easy to operate. I was able to till between my garden rows and because of it's easy maneuverability was able to till right next to my vegetable plants with no damage to them.I am very satisfied and would recommend it highly to anyone...Good job Earthquake, very good machine.

Great value for a home garden rototiller.
Good value. Does everything I need it to do for basic home gardening without breaking the bank. Started up with no problems, rototilled the hard, weed-filled soil without difficulty. Pleased with purchase.
