Unless i read something wrong. I dont think i did.The bolts they gave me were twice as long as needed. Be prepared to mount it tightly against studs in the ceiling or wall. Bolted. Not screwed. Then bolt the whole thing to the wall. By bolts i mean large headed wood screws.There is no room to use a ratchet. Thin open end wrench is what i had to use. It really needs to be mounted tight and strong due to all the pulling and recoil going on. No leaks and now i dont have to find a has station for air. I mounted a 2 by 8 to two studs. Then the real to the wood as shown.

I love my new reel. I had another one for about 15 years but those hose was pretty worn and becoming brittle. I am so impressed with this one. The hose itself is better than any I have seen at my local hardware stores (including big box). Jim W.

Tired of lugging air compressor and/or hose around garage. Installed on ceiling behind garage opener. Life is so much better. Compressor sits in corner. Ran different hose from compressor to reel. I mounted cross beams in ceiling between joists for better support as it’s heavy and don’t want this device falling on cars. Reel is long and extended down most the driveway. For fun used as a leaf blower. Used with several tools and already changed out brakes using it. So nice in cleanup to just retract the hose!

I love this reel. I was gonna just buy 25ft but found this one for almost the same price so went for it. I love my setup @ 120psi with a ball valve on the intake so that I can keep the pressure out of it while not in use. I forget to most of the time but it's good to have in case it leaks (some reviews on these type of reels complain of leaks). Mine is solid right out of the box!

A lot sturdier and stronger than what I first expected by comparing prices. No more flex in the spool or the tracking arm than the more expensive units that I’ve looked at and has a strong spring and automatic break. The automatic break or lock has a satisfying and solid sounding click that can be heard across the shop.Catch it on sale they get cheaper!

First and foremost, Don't expect to install this by yourself. It's extremely heavy and the bracket can't simply be removed without messing up the spring loaded tension. This also does not have 1/4 inch fittings. They are 3/8. I pre-ordered everything to install it only to find that I was going to have to buy reducers in order for everything to work, major bummer. although I haven't had much chance to use it I will update my review in the future to address how it holds up. I would have given it four stars if it wasn't for the incorrect description, and if it holds up I will increase my rating.

I was very happy with the quality of the reel when it arrived, I was expecting a lesser quality unit due to the price.This feels like a tool you would find at a Service Station. I would highly recomend.

I converted to a pressure washer reel works great.

Been mucking around with rolls of air line for years, decided to invest in this. Game changer, so much better. One little bit that takes some time to get used to, the ratchet mechanism is only around 1/4 of the diameter of the reel. So to hold, you have to rotate to 1-3 clicks then stop, to retract, rotate until no clicking. Only takes a couple times to get used to, but if you’re in a hurry, you may find you forget and find your airline retracting at haste
