Osso Good Spicy Pork Bone Broth, 3 - 16 Ounce Pouches, High in Protein & Collagen, Ships Frozen

I’ve had Osson Good broth when they first launched and it’s one if the best tasting bone broths on the market. Unfortunately as they’ve grown, the pouches have shrunk to only 16oz which used to be 22oz and it’s now become too expensive. I bought the 6 pack to save a few cents on the product but was very disappointed when the shipment arrived with half the pouches fully defrosted. If they’re still partially frozen, it’s ok to refreeze, but once thawed, you have to use them up. I was very enthusiastic about this company and their product when they first started, but I won’t be buying it anymore for the above reasons.

I jumped on the bone broth craze when I read that Halle Berry attributed her health and youthful look to it. I was already a big fan of collagen so it wasn't a big leap. Now I mix in a scoop of collagen powder in a cup of bone broth and enjoy it as a warm drink before bed. Not only I drift off to La La land with a warm tummy, but I wake up with a smooth face and less visible cellulite. I saw those benefits before I experience some relief of my aching knees. Both my parents had bad knees and I hope to stave off any further deterioration naturally. So far so good. My knees don't hurt as much and they have stopped making that annoying crackling sound like dried withered leaves every time I stand up. I only wish that it was a bit cheaper. I suppose before long I will have to invest in a crock pot and start boiling my own magic brew :)

So excited I ordered this. I was curious to try out and it exceeded my expectations. From convenient packaging to flavor. My daughter loves when I make her what she calls grandma's soup but I don't always find the time to make it from scratch. Now I used this bone broth as base (just boiled it), added some fresh vegetables and swirly noodles and voila - better then ever. I did not realize you can also just sip this stuff but totally like. It is delicious. And good quick energy boost. I bought the signature bone broth. Next I will try the chicken broth as well and use it as base to make Italian wedding soup. Or maybe try to make the sauteed kale with sausage. Yum. I would recommend this item to all foodies that grave fresh and healthy. And yes, will buy again.

In trying to eat healthier, I tried the Signature Bone Broth. The package arrived frozen, but I defrosted one package in the refrigerator overnight, which worked out great. The next day I heated up the package as directed in a microwave container but found the flavor too bland for me. So I added some kale, cut steamed carrots, steamed potatoes, (cooked chicken - optional), pepper to flavor, and simmered for a 18 minutes. I need a low salt diet which is why I selected Osso Good, and adding these items to the broth was just enough to give it extra punch and body to make it a meal with no salt. I was full and this was a meal for 2 more days. Word of caution: bone meal in some people can act as a bowel cleanser, so be prepared and go slow until your body is used to it. My one drawback was the price being too expensive, however adding the other ingredients as I did I was able to stretch my dollar making it less painful. I would buy again since making homemade bone meal broth cost a lot of money and time and this was convenient. This broth can be added to so many things making it versatile.

I give it a 3 star for the packaging. I have been buying this bone broth for a few months now and I have have 4 packages that have leaked in my refrigerator after thawing. What a mess and an even bigger waste of money. This isn’t a cheap product so to have to loose out on using several pouches is making it very expensive.

They make some really delicious bone broth. The packaging is so convenient. I keep them frozen and in the morning that I'm going to drink one for lunch, I just pull it out and let it thaw. I sip the broth in a mug. I often add pepper. I'm now where I can drink them without adding salt. I did at first and weaned off. They taste so good and hit the spot.

Love Osso Bone Broth. I first heard about it from a friend about 3 years ago. I run and exercise a lot. I drink salted bone broth for recovery. I also use it when making soup and other foods. I use bone broth instead of water in dinner recipes. So, bottom line is for 3 years I’ve been drinking Osso Bone Broth regularly and don’t intend to stop.

I was buying from this company previously due to a recommendation from a friend and was super happy to find they now sell this pack set on Amazon :) I use it to help with medical issues and this Signature flavor is my favorite of all the ones I’ve tried. They have some really yummy Health ones on their normal website that are really tasty too. Will be buying again often, hopefully they’ll do a Health pack one in the future on Amazon too :)
