Fit perfect, had to replace again after warranty was up, but second replacement has lasted much longer

The dryer is not difficult but tedious to disassemble with youtube video assistance, the piece so far is holding up. We did decide that smaller loads and temp on medium would insure longer life for hearing element. I have 5 family members including myself to launder for including household items, clothes, bedding, etc. So yes I use my washer and dryer quite frequently. Low heat settings and smaller loads may make your laundering time increase but it will save your heating element this save you money in the long run.******UPDATE********So we purchased March 2021 it's September 2022 and it's burnt out. I was using medium heat and doing laundry regularly twice a week for 5 people. Twice a month I'd wash bed sheets and I have couch and chair covers. This didn't last as long as I expected. Most people said it had lasted 3 years but mine however didn't.

Well our Samsung dryer was made so you take to take it completely apart to replace this heating coil. So install for us was a bit difficult. At first I thought it was great but we kept getting a HE error code. Which you guessed it was for the heating coil. Even on a low heat setting it was TOO HOT! Like super hot to the touch. So my husband took it apart again and found that the coil was grounded. (When he explained it to me what I took away was that one coil was bent or larger than the rest and it was touching something it shouldn’t be touching which led to overheating.) now that it’s fixed it’s no longer overheating and seems to be working great.

My husband and I tried to get our dryer serviced but no one would work on it. We ordered the parts and fixed it ourselves. YouTube told us how and it works great!

This heating element saved me a lot of money as opposed to replacing the entire dryer. Ease of installation leaves something to be desire, but that's a Samsung issue and not the manufacturer of this part. if you have the time and the patient this is definitely worth the investment over replacing the dryer.

Our stacked Samsung dryer is about 6 years old and stopped heating. My husband initially decided it must be the heating element and I ordered this element. After watching more videos on how to do access the element and taking the dryer front off, he decides it's best to replace the thermostat and fuse while everything it accessible. I subsequently ordered a fuse and thermostat. He installed the replacements and the dryer was once again heating up. Although the air was blowing out the vent with the vent door wide open, he also decided to get some dryer cleaner brushes and when cleaning he actually ended up totally obstructing the vent with lint that had built up on the inside walls of the vent hose. So, getting to the attic where the vent ran through, and using a 3' reach and pickup tool and shop vac, we cleared the vent hose completely and now the dryer is running like new.

The Samsung dryer that we have is very poorly designed in terms of maintenance. Replacing the dryer element, was a bit of a nightmare. Be prepared to get your hands sliced and diced on razor sharp sheet metal accessing screws in blind locations. These negative factors, however, should not reflect on this dryer element part. The difficulty installing the new element is entirely the fault of the designer(s) of our dryer. The factory installed element lasted about five years. Only time will tell how reliable this new element will be.

I purchased this item in October 2021. It wasn’t that hard to install however, it is now August 2022 and it is not working. Very disappointed
