It should not be sold at this millage/thickness, marginal. Operates well, but had to take great care in its installation and care to insure not mechanically damaged by traffic or other equipment.

If this hose has the slightest kink, twist, wave, curl, bend, etc… it does not work at all. I have a pretty high powered sand filter. The water runs into a bend and the entire hose just locks up, swells and has even popped off the filter before I had it all perfectly straight. Sometimes it took me two or three trips down the length of the hose to get it all perfect. It’s a disaster. Wish I had never bought it.

I needed a certain amount of hose, so I ordered two different sizes and was able to attach them to my sub pump and drain the pool in 4 hours. Worked just like it was supposed.

UPDATE: Poolwhale sent me a replacement in a couple of days time. Good customer service. The vinyl must have been stuck together in the inside. First try and it exploded open. I was careful to make sure there were no twists or kinks first but this still happened. No instructions or warnings came with this.
