Thought that this might be extinct!
I have been having a hard time finding these things at Walmart and then they wanted $36.00 for them. I looked here on Amazon and they didn't get great reviews but I love them and am very happy to be able to get 12 of them, so now I am set for about a year!

Great Deal
Bought a 12-pack for just over $40. This should last us about 2-3 years.Never had any issues dropping these off at our county hazardous disposal location.

Cost per is awesome
I didn't really need or want 12 of these things hanging around but being I take insulin and testosterone, I needed something. Stores in my area were charging anywhere from $7 - $12 per for these individually so this is a steal for $34 for 12. In March, I had to drive from Texas to Florida because my dad was in the hospital and I can't fly so I just took one of these with me in the car. It's small enough where it didn't take up a lot of space. Anything that goes in, never comes out so you don't have to worry about sharps falling out of it, like ever. During that trip I stayed at four hotels, two going, two coming home, and spent eight days there. Never had an issue since I bought these.

Shipped with items in their own boxes.
They were received in great shape but it took over a month to get them. I have a busy tattoo studio, so I had to order 3 to get me by until those came in days later.

Convenient sharps disposal.
Started using these 7 years ago because they're what my clinic sold. The container is just the right size for home use. I not only put lancets and insulin syringes in them, but also other household sharps: craft knife, box cutter, X-Acto, and even old paring knife blades fit nicely. You can even get rid of disposable razor blades by sticking on end of the blade assembly into the hole, levering the handle, and snapping off the blade. There is an additional hole in the middle of the top for penlets. I only briefly used penlets, but it seemed to work well with those as well. You can get about 10% more syringes in the containers by clipping the needles off the syringes with the "BD Safe-Clip Needle Clipping and Storage Device" (Amazon link = http://www.amazon.com/Safe-Clip-Needle-Clipping-Storage-Device/dp/B000VE6KB8/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1436917329&sr=1-1&keywords=B%26D+needle+clipper&pebp=1436917329350&perid=0GD6JWP2GSCGDZZS66KJ). One of these supposedly holds 1500 needles. Can't verify that yet, as I'm still on my first one

Great value, decent sharps container
First the amount of containers offered are a great value, way better price than buying them at the store or one at a time. As a diabetic I've been getting one container at a time. When I'm done I have to go to the drug store where they usually only have one more container. At least this brand of container cannot be overfilled (or I guess you could do so with much difficulty).I find these specific containers adequate to storing my sharps. They fit my needles and pens which is all I can ask from a sharps container. I also like the lid, I've had other containers which have larger openings but the problem is things can fall out when you drop the container. I use the Lantus Solostar pens if that helps anyone.
