I bought this for my mom who is diabetic. It is good for someone who takes multiple shots throughout the day. In my home town I could only find small containers and she would go thew them in a week. The size is great, she is still using it.I misunderstood the discription of the lid. I thought it would be like the kind in the hospital, where you lay the needle in it and you lift a handle and the needle drops in the box. This one you just drop in a hole.
