True (Maize and) Blue
It truly does burn maize, so you really will have maize and blue birthday candles with these. But it's one of those things where, after I bought it, I thought, Why did I spend money on something like this?

Glad we found them!
They were better than I expected! We purchased the OSU candles. It took about 1 minute after we lit the candles for the flame to turn red but then they were beautiful. Everyone loved them and they added a special element to a special occasion. Glad we found them! GO BUCKS!

Cool U of M Candles!!!
These U of M candles were awesome!! Had the M on the candle and the flame was the maize color. It took a little bit for it to be maize but was very cool when it did!!! Love the candles!!! Love U of M!! Go Blue!!

Beautiful candles with an amazing green fire when lighted!

Very Disappointed
The Block M was so faint, we thought it was missing completely. The blue coloring also came off on hands while handling the candles. I would not buy these again.
