SSL BNC Video Power Cable For CCTV Camera DVR Security System (2M, Black)

I purchased this and just discovered that this cable does not work correctly as over the last few months my picture kept going from Colour to Black and White and I thought it was my dvr, so I purchased a new dvr and when I connected the camera it is still in Black and White with this cable, so I paid for a cable that does not work correctly as it must have a defect in it somewhere, I'm not surprised really as the condition it was delivered to me was terrible, you would swear it was bought from a car boot sale, so I do strongly advise you to shop elsewhere for a cable and avoid this seller as the quality is very poor.

Needed to connect Swann cctv cameras between two buildings and wanted to use one continuous length of cable. Strung with catenary wire and along the side of two buildings. Worked as advertised. Picture quality into a 1028 HD DVR is great, very clear. IR activation is about 15 - 20 feet, and activation is quicker when movement is from the side as opposed to walking straight towards it. Night vision on IR is typical, but when flood lights come on we have instant colour which is excellent. Cable is good quality as are the connectors. Can find no fault thus far.

I am very pleased with this cable. Made of twin cables (two power and two signal wires) it can pass through smaller holes and can lay flatter against walls or floors compared with round section cable. The plugs at each end are good quality and fit well. The white cable is less visible indoors as well. The insulation is normal - flexible without being soft. There seems to be no power or signal loss over a long cable. Good value for money too.

The red power part of this cable stopped working 36 hours after installationDue to how awkward it was to install through lofts and fixtures, we stripped the wire to see if we could salvage it.This is how we know it is cheap quality and much thinner wiring compared to other cables, and the ends are connected poorly.It wasn’t salvageable but thankfully my father had extra cable we could use as the red power partThe yellow video part works fine, but most people would not have the resources on electrical knowledge to overcome a similar problem so I can not recommend this product.

Handy to know, got me out off a fix when a camera needed to be moved due to cat bopping the camera breaking 2 cams extension cable allowed me to do this easily felt that quality of Cable could be better but for the price, it will do ,I'll see how it does over the year as joints are in weatherproof JBs and cable is in trunking I can monitor the cable that is exposed to the elements, perfect for indoors ,

Very disapointed, when pulling the wire through a large conduit it just streatched and snapped, twice it did this with no real reason other than if you pull the wire by hand it stretches a lot as it is so soft.Now I have jammed up the conduit as the end with the connectors on is inside it and totally inassesible.

I bought 4 of these cables, in black, in varying lengths. The price isn't too bad for what it is, and the build quality is reasonable. They worked just fine with my Yale CCTV kit, and I have yet to notice any degradation in picture quality at all. Note that if you're buying these cables to extend existing cables, you'll want to buy some adapters/couplers to enable a connection between the two cables.

2 meter long cable with BNC connections both ends, and male and female 5.5 x2.1 male female power conections fits well and easy to connect to camera and transmitter, very pleased with the quality of the cables and would recommend it ,it is being used for transmissions on Amateur TV.
