Hands, Grooves, & Fills: Book & DVD Pack

Pat Petrillo has figured out a true instructional course on drumming, including musicality as well as technique. It appears that most "instructional" videos "allow" one to watch the author play close up, with a smattering of neat little tidbits (read "licks") of instruction, but no real course of action as to the path to true musicianship. I am a graduate of one of the best music schools in the country, and still found a wealth of excellent ideas to improve my technique even further. This will help the beginner as well as the advanced player, though a live teacher as a guide is still an advantage. This book makes it fun to learn...congratulations to Mr Petrillo - he delivers what he promises.

Pat is in that elite group of World Class Drummer/Musicians,and in my opinion his training programs have a unique and logical way of explaining how to understand and interrupt the many possible note grouping combinations that can be very frustrating confusing.Many Thanks Pat for turning on the lights.
