Very low quality.For starters it's almost the diameter of jb 60lb hollow core.It's extrememly lumpy and flat, making splicing with any Daho needle very difficult if not impossible. Power pro HC, JB HC, Toro and cortland all make HC lines that splice much easier and are are far more uniform.Then there are the hard crusty bits in the line......sorta like the gobs of goodness found in power pro 4 strand 20 years ago.......I wasn't expecting Gosen 16 levels of slickness...but it's not even on in the same timezone....Returning for refund.

I have not yet fished with this line so that is an important reference. I was looking for something thin but spliceable to use as fly line backing. Being 16 strand I figured this would allow splicing and it does. It actually splices very easily and is the thinnest line that I have spliced. It is a very 'soft' line and I don't yet know how that will translate into abrasion resistance. I am wondering if I should order more in a larger diameter because this is probably thinner than required. We have over a foot of ice on the water here so fishing is several months in the future for me, will come back and edit when I know more about how well it works.

This line is smooth and handles well. I don’t have any very good way to check the breaking strength, but am ready to believe that it is ok. The problem with this line, at least for splicing is poor control over the spindle tension during manufacture. When threading a needle up the center, there are loose sections and tight sections and some so tight that you cannot open the line up and therefore the threading cannot go forward. Pretty frustrating to just about finish a splicing loop, hit a tight spot and have to cut it off and start over. So if you are going to use this like standard braid, you will probably like it. However if you were buying hollow core so that you can splice, I believe you will be disappointed. I should mention that My experience is with 50#. Heavier lines may not have this problem. Also I should note that this product ships directly from China

I received the order quickly. It was not the easiest 40# hollow braid I have worked with, but still very workable, no complaints (40# hollow in general is more "difficult" to work with than say 80# hollow). I used to it make 10 wind-on leaders with 40# and 50# fluorocarbon leaders. The braid opened up fairly easily and threaded well. I did not run into any "blockages" in the hollow. The spool was packed firmly. I will order this again in the future.

Soft hollowcore braid,you can't beat the price.We use this line for verticle jigging. Your florocarbon to braid splice is done with a fingertrap style connection, don't forget to buy the corresponding daho splicing needle to insert the mono into the braid.Shipping takes awhile so order 3 to 4 weeks ahead of time.

Great for wind on leaders. I bought this in 250lb and made many wind on leaders with 250lb mono. It works great and is hollow throughout.

Good for using as straight up line, not good for threading into center for wind on leader as someone else mentioned. Weave is inconsistent .

Ottimo braid a 16.fili ottima tenuta al modo è facile da incalzare con i giusti aghi , grande resistenza testata con pesi e in acqua a pesca , semplice la colorazione variata ogni 10metri è segnalata anche da una tacca bianca tra i colori , unico difetto un po’ di perdita del colore con conseguente sbiadimento , ma non eccessivo , ho visto di peggio , consegna perfetta e in tempi segnalati . Tutto insieme ottimo compromesso qualità costo.

Muy buen trenzado provado con grandes capturas y resistente a gran picada y capturas de atun rojo gigante, bastante fiable, en cuanto a la durabilidad no lo sé, lo tengo montado de hace dos años y de momento bien, tengo probados del 130 al 200 libras, el monofilamento se introduce bien con la aguja, diría que el tacto da mejor impresión hasta que las grandes marcas, saludos

Die Schnur ist super verarbeitet ich hab sie zum Wallerfischen gekauft und hab sie auf mein 10500 SSV Penn gespult es Passen ca 330 m von der 130lbs drauf. Das Speilssen ineinander Kappt super, ich bin jetzt noch auf der such nach einer passenden schlagschnur die man da einspleissen kann. Leider giebt es auf den Deutschenmarkt keine geeignete Schnur die man bestellen kann. Wenn wieder andere Schnüre von Ashconfish verfügbar sind, dann werd ich diese sofort nach bestellen.

Non lo uso con fini di pesca, molto resistente, credo meno del dichiarato però fino a 70 kg tiene
