Gift for my Grandson.
Absolutely beautiful gift. My Grandson is studying the Japanese culture, and is learning to read and rite this language. I thought tis would be perfect for him. Needless to say, he loved it. Beautiful set, in a very pretty box. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great for beginners
I’ve enjoyed this so far, at first I wasn’t sure what to do with the woodblock. After some research I learned what it’s for and I’ve learned much about the uses of each type of brush.

Beautiful product but flawed by damage & misrepresentation
The product arrived with a damaged lid and clasp. It was also misrepresented in the advertised picture. The inside colour is different (bright orange instead of the expected red) and the print on several items is missing. A beautiful product and a great gift for my daughter, but sadly overshadowed by the issues as mentioned. Very disappointing for my first Amazon purchase.

Damaged item and poor quality.
Loved the gift but the outside of the box was stained and dirty from the coal or dry ink and the lock piece broken. I didn’t want to return it so I decided to keep it because my sister who I haven’t seen in over two years sent it to me.
