Avoid
I always hate to leave a negative review, but I feel that it's a must on this occasion. The build quality is highly disappointing, the controller feels like a £5 product, not £20+I wasn't expecting a product analogous to a PS4 controller, but given the price and the pre-existing reviews, I was expecting something far better than this product. The joysticks are sticky and lack any form of precision; they're just about usable. The entire controller flexes with ease, which subsequently kicks out my phone during use.The position of analog sticks are impractical with discomfort setting in after 30min, or so, of use.The manual is in English, or at least some amalgamated form of English. The only positive I know of in my experience is that the seller dispatched promptly.I won't be returning the item as it will probably go on tour around my friends, where it can be thoroughly ridiculed before it's ultimate retirement in a drawer never to be seen of again.

Mine Works Just Fine With a Pop-Socket on My Phone.
I have a Samsung Luna Pro with a pop-socket installed in the center of the rear plate. There is a natural flex to the back of the controller due to the three sliding plates so it still fits snugly into the controller with the pop-socket (in a non-extended state) without having to bend or force it in the controller. When the pop-socket is left on my phone it just barely tilts the left and right controllers inward (to make up for the rear outward flex), which I honestly prefer since it seems like a more natural way to hold the controls in hand.I love this thing. I've been playing N64, Nes, SNES, and PS1 games perfectly since I got it earlier this week. I'm so glad I bought this rather than dumping a bunch of money into building a Raspberry Pi based handheld. Most big brand smartphones can handle N64 games and more just fine, so this is all the hardware you need.

Great controller at a great price, works nicely for my purposes
I'm using this controller on my Note 8 for moonlight PC game streaming on my phone. Its great because the right side joystick is below the buttons which is the layout for modern controllers rather than above the buttons like other controllers I tried. It pairs up with my phone flawlessly. The joysticks feel similar to the Nintendo Switch joycon joysticks which is a good thing as I love the Nintendo Switch, but now I can play PC games in a Nintendo Switch kind of way.

Very shoddy, better than nothing but not at it's current price
Usable...just.This is not a quality product!Had to take my note 9 out of its case to fit it into the controller...tight fit.Thing is the back is really flimsy... so at one point despite the tight fit the sides went at just the right angle to let the phone fall out and onto the floor....with out my phones case... well now I have a tiny scratch on my phone... hard to notice but that knocks my phones value right down... my fault for trusting this plastic junk to hold my phone. So I decided to use it like a normal pad.... not ideal, not what I purchased it for but its not safe for a phone! The pad is cheaply made, left analog stick is ok but right just feels massively off, like they cheaper out on one stick, it doesnt feel as smooth and it sensitivity is all over the place.Triggers are not analog but just buttons. Forget playing any racing game via psplay/psremoteplay/moonlight etc again cheap. The button leds cant be turned off which is annoying but not critical. The controller has two modes, one that is direct (this worked best for me and psplay used the buttons as well as it could)And a mode that emulates touching the screen.... the app you use to configure this doesnt explain that, it was guess work. I couldnt get the app to save presets, selecting a game to configure was a nightmare and the app wanted to stay loaded at all times.... avoid this mode, avoid this app.....hello if you havent purchased this yet avoid this controller!I pushed through the issues and used it for a couple of hours today....battery life is really good....This is not worth the price, not by a long shot.

Expandable controller to fit majority of modern smartphones
I was looking for a Bluetooth controller with a dual analogue stick and I found this.Visually I like the red and black colour scheme. The button layout is nicely balanced so it has both d-pad and analogue stick on the left and a/b/x/y plus 2nd analogue stick on the right side. The controller has a rechargeable 400mah battery which is no removeable but sense it’s on the left hand side. It uses an included micro usb cable but you will need to use your own charging plug.I like the simple connectivity process for mobile phones. I didn’t need to use the included English instructions paperwork.nevertheless it’s good enough for occasional mobile gaming. The d-pad is clicky and pivoted on the centre (this is a good thing). I’m not sure about the dead zones on the analogue sticks. For future revisions, I’d like the manufacture to include an analogue L2/R2 trigger button.Overall, it’s a great retractable spring loaded controller. It will accommodate a 165mm max lengths and minimum 78mm when holding a mobile file. Recommended for travelling on long journeys.

Absolutely brilliant
I love this controller. I received the upgraded version and the build quality, comfort, looks are all spot on. Buttons and sticks feel good. Little small but to be expected on this type of controller and for me doesn't effect the playability. The red backlighting looks cool and they're not too bright either so cause zero distraction. I sat for a few hours playing the other evening and got no hand fatigue at all. While it's similar to a ps vita in design for me I find it more comfortable to use as the shoulders on this pad are bigger. Literally nothing bad to say about it appart from need to use bluetooth headphones as the 3.5 jack is covered while playing in landscape. That's no Biggie though. Went and bought a set of bluetooth Audio Technica headphones which are also awesome and match the controller in black and red lol. This turns my phone "Umidigi F1" into a pretty capable hand held console. Highly recommended.
