Tree of Life

I recently visited a local used record store and found a soundtrack collection that I really liked. It was just $2-3, so the small price enticed me to take a listen. I have a slightly longer than average commute to work and found that I had listened to that oneparticular CD for several days and really enjoyed it - and got hooked on finding more soundtracks that I could listen to on the commute and maybe at the office. Audiomachine was one of the first additional "soundtracks" that I found, and I soon downloaded a few albums to my Prime Music library. It wasn't long, however, until I had ordered Audiomachine's Existence to listen to in the car and, shortly after that, Tree of Life. Awesome music that I wish I had found earlier. It's a very welcome change from the tired and same 'ole - though still welcomed when the mood calls for it - classic rock. Beyond that sentiment, though, is the fact that this stuff is really, really good! Might even say it rocks! And it's not, at least as far as I have so far determined, electronically produced; there are real musicians and vocalists performing these pieces on violins, kettle drums and French horns. That's what I had observed, at least, after watching an Audiomachine performance on YouTube. In my opinion, 'authentically' produced music adds dimension that cannot be duplicated via ones and zeros on the front end - in front of the microphone. The back-end production quality is superb. All around great. I would encourage you not to miss out on Tree of Life or, if you're new to soundtracks like I was just a couple of weeks ago, anything from Audiomachine. I may be a latecomer to this 'genre', but am glad I found it. Also of note, there are 26 tracks on this album and only two over three minutes long. Due to having been backing tracks or scores for games, commercials or similar productions, they aren't drawn out; their relative brevity may make a statement as to how great music may be enjoyed in our faster paced times, but it all works extremely well -- and sounds awesome.

So I'll admit...I've got a Facebook account, but I kinda hate the whole bloody thing. Audiomachine's "Tree of Life" has, however, gotten the rare thumbs-up "Like" on Facebook. AND...shock of shocks...I love this album so much that I even left a little thank you on wall of said album..."Thank you for this gorgeous, gorgeous album!"My social networking habits aside, the music from Tree of Life is truly amazing. As others have said, it's epic without being "too epic" (if ever there is such a thing). I've found extreme solace with this music at 3am when I can't sleep and need to paint some vivid but relaxing fantasies in my mind...or when writing (this has unofficially become the soundtrack to my novel)...or when baking bread on a Saturday morning (dough rises better with epic music)...and it goes on. The quality and depth of sound is incredible, indicating that someone really cares for the music and wanted me to care, too. The album is best listened to as a whole because there is a certain continuity to the music, but even when I listen on my MP3 player with all the tracks jumbled up and interspersed with other music, I can always tell Audiomachine from the rest. Since falling in love with "Tree of Life", I've also purchased "Chronicles" and "Epica" and will invest in "Helios" sometime soon. The sample snippets are a delicious teaser of what you get if you buy the whole thing, and if you're at all on the fence about this one, don't be! It is the sort of music that wraps itself around your heart and takes your mind to incredible places.Seriously good music from a seriously awesome people. I look forward with great anticipation to their future releases!!

Audiomachine is one of my favorites in the genre of epic trailer music - their work is used mostly in movie trailers and other film/television advertising. Fortunately, there are a number of albums that Audiomachine has made available for purchase by the public. "Tree of Life" is their fourth public album, and once again they have exceeded my expectations.Usually in my soundtrack reviews I list a few of my favorite tracks. If I had to single out a few tracks, I would say the ones that stand out at the moment are "Above and Beyond", "The Fire Within", "Homecoming", and "Final Hope". But this is one of those rare albums where each and every track is worthy of your time. There's not a weak track to be found; the album works best as a complete experience and not a single one of the tracks feels out of place.Audiomachine is very eclectic - they have proven they can do intense, suspenseful, dark and tragic. But "Tree of Life" is their lightest album yet - most of the tracks are very inspirational and uplifting. I think this is my second favorite album they have done (I would say that "Chronicles" remains their best work). This album is highly recommended!*Note: the Amazon MP3 version has 26 tracks totaling over an hour of music. However, the iTunes MP3 album has 29 tracks (and the 3 bonus tracks are very good).

By far, Audiomachine is one of the best, if not THE best 21st century orchestral groups around right now, and this album correctly shows that. First off is the price: for $8.99 (MP3 downloads), 26 tracks over more than an hour is automatically a GREAT value.The music itself: Of all Audiomachine albums, this is the most inspirational, awe-driven ones out there. I recommend keeping tissues with you while first listening to this track, as it can come close to producing tears (or the other thing tissues are used for, for more inappropriate readers! :D)These are my 3 personal favorites of the album:[...] - The Fire Within[...] - The Legend Begins[...] - Above and BeyondThese are just a small taste of what you can expect from this A++ album, and for a much higher quality than simple YouTube videos. 5/5, no doubt about it.

Really is my favourite! I have listened to is so many times, its a good thing you can't wear out a CD!

Je suis déjà une fervente admiratrice de TSFH et j'ai découvert Audiomachine en cherchant d'autres musiques épiques.Je l'écoute maintenant non-stop en travaillant.C'est une musique grandiose, dont certains morceaux sont à couper le souffle ! J'adore et j'ai d'ailleurs commandé d'autres albums.À l'origine, j'ai toujours aimé la musique classique symphonique. La musique épique est pour moi comme du classique "moderne".

もしもCD全盛の1995年に、アディエマスと同レベルのプロモーションがされていたら、どれだけヒットしただろう、と思います。youtubeの「Moments in Kyoto - Cinematic 」という動画でこの曲を知りました。最初は何者による作曲かが判らず、思いめぐらしていましたが、ハリウッド映画の予告用の曲を手掛けているaudiomachineによるものと知って納得できました。ハリウッド映画の予告用の曲を手掛けるってことは聴き味が最高に洗練されていて当たり前だと。よく聴くのは、Homecoming,Equinox,The Fire Within,Turning Point,Age Of Innocence,Cry Freedom,Across The Horizon,The Legend Beginsです。

Lástima la mediocre calidad de la producción. Sonodo demasiado emborronado en demasiadas ocasiones. Que pena. Calidad mp3-128 no es lo que uno espera en un CD
