Great A/C
Very quiet operation. Cooled the room very quickly. It might cost a bit more but it is worth it

impossible to connect to wi-fi
The unit cools well however it will not connect to wi -fi . I called Friedrich Customer service and followed the prompts on the menu for wi -fi connectivity issues after waiting on hold for 20 minutes my call was answered by someone who told me they could not help me and someone would get back to me in 24 hours . Still waiting .

Great but loud
This ac is great and is fully capable of cooling my house quickly and efficiently. The remote and the app work perfect and easy to use.My only complaint is the noise level. I wish there was a few more modes on the fan. The low is still very powerful and loud.It's not a deal breaker but it is loud enough that I did have to change my original placement.

it's keeps me cool, but not as quiet as I expected
I have Friedrich air conditioners in all my rooms. this is the first "smart" AC and I am surprised that there is a bug in their software. whenever I put the AC on manually and then want to turn off the display (LEDs) I have to use the remote and each time i hit the "Display" button it turns the Fan up to the High setting. Strange but true, stranger yet is the fact that I sent an email to Friedrich a month ago and have not received any response. I'm sure that this software glich can be addressed, but without any communication from Freidrich I think it will be after the summer.

Disappointed.
Cooling is awesome. If you can get it to turn on. Remote is useless unless you stand 1 foot in front of unit. WiFi does not work. Impossible to connect.Overall this is a disappointment considering Freidrich reputation.

Great unit with caveatu
Cools really well. Cooling is excellent. Only experienced 90 degree days remote sucks. No back lighting, modes on the unit are backlighted. Apple iPhone wanky. Don’t care about noise quiet is no an issue for me. Love the sound. Will review more after we hit 100 plus. The 10k BTU unit is perfectly for my 800 sq ft house

Powerful AC. The app on my iPhone controls it perfectly. So far this is the best AC I’ve ever had.
