Great! But it auto shuts down.
BIG FLAW - The collar dies just sitting for a couple days when not on. Just when I want to use it it seems.I used shock once when Goldendoodle SAM was 6 months old to stop the incessant barking at the fence in the evenings. At 99! Have not had to use shock since. Now almost two years later I hardly need to use buzz or peep, just COME works. Sam acts completely different when the collar is on. Complete obedience in all things. Bike rides with no leash! Joggers, skateboards, bikes and dog walkers no problem at all. "SAM!" or "COME!" once in awhile a buzz to remind him has it on. COME! he runs to me and sits as other angry dog walkers walk right by a few feet away and he stays perfectly, which makes the other dog walkers even angrier. :)At first without it on just showing him the remote would work. But after a few days he figured that out. With it on I don't even have to use the buzz anymore. Just a COME will do. Immediate.I have a Goldendoogle and all the hair means I have to put it on tight to shock and it rather hard to put on him. But I think that soon I can loosen it up fix the size and just slip it over his head as the Shock is not necessary. It has to be tight for the shock so it is not something you want on them for any extended period of time, though LONGER THAN A HALF HOUR!Talked to a farmer the other day who told me the electric fence only needs a horse or cow ONE TIME to not go there again and they then can turn it off unless they get new animals.

A collar that works
this is my second one of these collars. The battery on the first collar stopped holding a multi day charge after about 8 months and now needs charged daily in order to use it. The reason I ordered a second collar is that it works well on the beep, vibrate and shock functions. My lab pup was broke from leaving the houseyard with only the beep on vibrate as they are loud and the vibrate strong. My girlfriend has a poodle and when his old training collar wore out and was replaced with a newer version of his original collar the beep, vibrate were not as strong and the shock function button had no affect on him and might as well not even be on the collar. when we broke out my old one and I showed her how it worked she was happy to charge it every day as it controls even a high strung poodle. So after purchasing the new collar she is happy, the dog listens and obeys so well he can be off leash in the unfenced front yard with no worries. Before he would run off knowing there would be ne recourse from his collar, now a he stays close.

Great deal, works long distances
I’ve bought two of these collars, one for my dog and one for my mom’s dog. This device has been a lifesaver. We live in a rural area and my dog loves to roam, but once I got the collar she’s been so much better. I‘ve only had to shock her a couple times, and now she responds great to the beep or vibration without the shock. Over time she’s learned her boundaries and does pretty good if I’m consistent with catching her before she leaves the yard and sending a beep to her collar. I don’t have the time or interest in doing an underground fence, and this collar has been a great alternative. There has been a couple occasions where I wasn’t paying attention and my dog ran quite a ways off, but this collar brought her back to us because of the far distance it reaches. I’m convinced my dog would have been lost for good without her collar. I’ve had mine not quite a year and it still works we’ll and holds a charge great. The vibration has appeared to stop working, but my dog responds to the beep so it doesn’t really bother me. I’ll be buying the same collar again when this one quits. I’ve been very happy with it and after looking at all the other options you certainly can’t beat the price!

Used for training
This is a great collar. Used for training and boundary establishing. Love the fact it has multiple training buttons. (Beep, vibration and shock). I used this in stages for correction. Verbal commands-then adding a step each time I had to use the verbal command again. Used for 2 dogs (GSP’s) 9 months old and 3 months old. They now just need the visual of the controller and the verbal command is a breeze.I did struggle with that idea. They are still young and I believe with time this will become a none issue. (Not needing your see the controller to listen at 100%)Great for walks in the the outdoors (woods, mountains and such- not neighborhoods) unleashed and tracking. They can follow a scent and track as they normally would. You can use the beep option to locate them. (Great for thick areas where visual is minimal) Mine come back to me when they hear the beep or my clicking call.

Works good but could better
It works but when you press a button you have to press it several times to get it to work. The shock just tickles a 85 pound pit bull but it works good enough

so far, so good
I had this for about 6 mo now and it's still good. My grandson and I tried the shock option up to 50 on our hands so I would know how much the dogs could handle if I used that option. My dogs did not react to the beeps and the vibration was set to 75. Sometimes, they listened, sometimes they didn't. I did try the shock a couple of times at 55 and they did react to that. It was more of a startled reaction, no hurting involved; as we did try it on ourselves first.

Wonderful dog training collar
My dog always pulled me to chase squirrels, but the warning beep on this collar paired with a small jolt quickly got his attention and I didn't go flying any more. The remote has different channels so that my daughter could walk her dog with her remote that matched mine and I could walk my dog at the same time. The remote quit working on mine, but the customer service was great: both prompt and courteous while sending a full replacement. I would work with this company again. Thanks
