10 Pacific MADRONE Tree Bearberry Red Arbutus Menziesii Oregon Laurel Seeds

I received 3 seeds and a package of chia seeds. Of the three seeds two grew and I do not know if they are in fact a tree at all.I will never purchase from this company.

Followed directions, not a single seed sprouted. Very disappointed.

I could never get them to grow.

Suppliers are not open with this critical step. Stratify means cold weather to a seed. No matter what your supplier says: "Place your seeds in the refrigerator for a minimum of 40 days". They are in the seed business: "Stratify". I germinated four seeds in 2' peat pots, then transplanted that "pot" into a 6 inch biodegradable pot with 50/50 peat and soil mixture, where they grew under 5500K florescent lights. 5500K, not 5000K or 6000K !!!! 5000K is the color of the light at the center of our sun! At a height of 6", I transplanted those pots outside. Drill extra holes to help with decomposition is fine but: Don't touch, or fuss with their roots: Transplant the whole pot!
