Bummer - did not fit my antique Hibbard VS machine
I was so looking forward to turning my antique Hibbard vibrating shuttle machine from electric to hand crank; but this attachment does not fit my machine. The motor boss mount on my machine sits too high on the column to allow the crank arm attachment to clear the spoked wheel. If you are considering getting this attachment, look at the “wheel” side of your machine. If you can see the boss motor mount “bolt hole” through your wheel spokes, your boss mounting is too high for this to work on your machine.I’ve attached photos - hope this helps some of you out.Ps - I’ll keep the crank I case I ever need it in future.

Fits my antique Singer perfectly.
The media could not be loaded. It fits my antique singer perfectly and is wonderful. Just make sure your machine has a “boss” below the handwheel to accept the handcrank and carefully screw the handcrank into the hole. It works perfectly and is much more affordable and accessible than the antique genuine parts. I removed the decal since I prefer it black. I will definitely be purchasing more to include with treadle machines. This particular machine does not have a base so I am planning to put it into a modern stand that does not have a treadle, so it will be a handcrank only machine that I am keeping for my own collection. Please excuse the messy workroom, this machine is still in the restoration process and not yet ready for the sewing room, I am packing to move. :)

Works with vintage Singer
This hand crank works great on my vintage Singer 15K, which is 99 years old. These hand cranks make it possible to use machines that were traditionally placed in treadle bases. Many of these machine heads have been removed from the bases and set aside for ornamental purposes. This hand crank puts them back into service. It can also be used to turn a motorized machine into a hand crank. It is a reasonable cost and comes complete with the screw. You just need to make sure that your machine has 1) a spoked hand wheel and 2) a motor boss—a flat place with a threaded hole under the hand wheel, where a motor could be bolted.

JUST DONT.
The media could not be loaded. It's just bad. There is not one redeeming factor. Everything is monumentally sloppy with a truckload of play. Excessive gear play, Excessive shaft play, A level of play in the drive handle that was so laughable that I quite literally broke out in laughter at it. It has uneven gear teeth that I am 99% sure were cut freehand. Both of the pins as well as the spring detent for the drive handle are done very very poorly. The piece of rubber tubing on the drive lever that contacts the handwheel of the sewing machine is insanely inadequate. I already fully expected to get a "piece of junk" when I ordered this thing. But.... Holy jumping fiddlesticks on a taco shell Batman, this makes a "piece of junk" look like a finely tuned Rolls Royce motor.

Worked as it should have
This is a heavy built product and it turned the sewing machine with ease and work really well. Turned the machine both forwards and reverse with no problems. It would give a little more power when it comes to sewing thicker materials and make hymns. The only issue I discovered has nothing to do with the manufacture but with the cabinet of my machine. The machine is an antique and can not be folded down (put away) with this attached to the machine...that is, unless I am willing to make changes to the cabinet which I am not....This fact, has nothing to do with the manufacture but me not paying attention to the measurements...but I think I would have bought it anyway...not really that hard to put it back on the machine..

It works
Not nearly as nice as a vintage Singer hand crank and kind of flimsy but it works just fine on Singer machines (Singer 28, 128, 66) at about 1/4 of the price of an original.

Did not fit Singer 99, 66, 27, or 128.
This handle did not have the correct measurements to fit a Singer 99k, 66, 27, or 128. The part that is supposed to fit between the spokes of the wheel didn't reach far enough to stay between them. It would barely catch a spoke, move the wheel a few inches, and slip out. It isn't adjustable in any way. Ive tried it with wheels that have 9 spokes, 12 spokes, and the very thick wheels on the oldest Singer 27 models.I managed to rig it with a piece of an old belt stuck to the end to make it stay in place, but the hardware itself is loose and rattles. Even if it worked as advertised, its cheap and poorly made.

Obviously not original - but works!
The sticker with the Chinese calligraphy can be removed, which makes it less obvious that it's a new part... not that it's going to fool anyone! But it works, and if you just want something to complete a handcranked machine, this fits the ticket.

Appalling Quality
The quality of this product is appalling. The handle retaining spring broke immediately and the fit as finish is woeful. If being purchased for a vintage Singer machine - do not waste your money.

Une aidde appréciable
Achetée pour permettre à une petite fille de se servir de l'ancienne machine à coudre. Cela a créé une vocation.
