The audio splitter works great
I am using the device to split the output from my Apple TV to my monitors (no sound) and speaker system (using 3.5mm audio jack). It has worked perfectly. Picture quality remains fine on the monitor. I do not use the device for volume control.

It works
Works exactly as intended. Audio and picture quality are great. Only complaint is that the cords are too short. It made me change my setup a little.

Works as Advertised
Easy to set up and it functions well to split off the sound from an HDMI signal. I used a monitor without built in speakers stream from an iphone and used an external speaker with the monitor. This simple device made this possible. I only used a simple speaker bar so I don't know if the audio signal would be decoded into surround sound.

Do not buy!
Product worked great for a couple of hours and then stopped working. Waste of money.

Works great, especially for those with a console without an aux output. EDIT: see review
Product works as intended, however I recommend that the AC adapter cable length should be increased, as I cannot plug it into my power strip.Edit: The device is acting really finicky, as it started to glitch out and not pass audio, now it’s not passing ANY audio. Also the picture is glitchy. What a waste of money

Doesn't work well on multi display settings
It didn't work out of the box. I requested a replacement thinking that it came across with a defective unit. It Ended up been a matter of changing settings in my pc and disabling some of my displays

Easy to use
Very easy to setup and work's right out of the box.

Works, but didn't appear like the picture...
I selected the barrel fitting for the power cord, but they gave me the micro port style power... plus, the DVD connector lining was showing Gold on the picture, but it must be a white gold I suppose, because it looks more silver than gold. Still works as intended, but picture didn't reflect what I actually received and I could have paid $2 dollars less for the model that I ended up getting. Be careful as there are two different sellers showing a very similar picture, but really, it's the same product.
