Variety of cables are nice to have on hand for diy.

I had a Old Mountain Bike that I converted to a road bike (wanted a change in riding posture).So, I switched it from Shimano Altus Shifters to SB 473 Shifters. The cables in this package helped me to complete the job. I had to add a couple of cantilever adapters because of the travel between the V. Brakes and the short pull SB473. The cable in this package was EXACTLY the right size. I was a bit worried initially that the cables may not fit, but they did very well fitting through the holes in the travel adapter. No problems there.Overall, the material feels solid. How strong it is, we'll see. It's only been a couple of days. I'll update in a few months.

great value in the package but 1700mm is not long enough for the rear brake for most Large or XL disc brake equipped bikes.

Works Great

I put these on my 30 year old Schwinn, and my old Diamond back. In a pinch i used a shifter cable on my Cannondale, but a month later changed it out for a Shimano. No complaints during that month, and I couldn't really tell the difference in shifter feel and performance. A good cable for the spares kit, too.

My package just arrived and it just includes the 4 brake and 4 shifter cables. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE 16 pcs cable end crimps(black+silver) + 8 pcs isolation protection clip PIECES AS DESCRIBED. Minor inconvenience for me, I have crimps, but it is not everything they promised. See photo, no crimps etc.
