This is exactly what I wanted for Pandora my Shoodle. It came well packaged and excellent instructions. I am not the best at putting stuff together but couldn't wait for hubby to be home from work and I did it! Very proud. The product is very sturdy and the seat belt weaves through the back and a clip brace for the harness to attach too! We have had our first outing today with the car booster seat! Pandora settled straight away and seemed to enjoy looking out the window. She lay down in it while I was driving. I was more relaxed knowing she was properly secure and comfortable. Much better than the previous one I brought that just went over the headrest. I was surprised at how big it was but it fits in the front seat of my Vauxhall Adam no problems. Excellent product and value for money.

Can't knock it for what it is. It's certainly robust enough for a growing french bulldog. It's easy to clean as pup has already 'marked' it and thrown up in it. A great feature is the metal rings and hooks and you will need them in metal as plastic simply breaks! Just imagine the g-forces when breaking! It's not just a dogs weight you have to consider!Folds away flat if you don't need to use it as its cloth but the metal pins take 30 seconds to install to make it rigid enough for travel. It is technically height adjustable which is brilliant if you want it raised do dogs can see out of the windows on level, but can also rest in seats if you need!Wife loves this to bits, and the safety harnesses are brilliantly easy to just clip dog in and it can't rear up on its heels or jump up to distract you when u drive.

I've used the standard version of this with my 4.5kg chorkie for about 6 years and it's pretty much the best car accessory I've bought! Since her old one was pretty old (and the cat decided to pee in it, going through to the wooden board), I thought I'd treat her to the slightly larger deluxe model. And she loves it. Now she's a little old lady and slightly arthritic, she has room to properly lay down rather than just sit up.Fabric is very soft, pretty and best of all, washable. It's also very sturdy and easy to set up.

For reference I have a miniature schnauzer/yorkie cross and he is 8kg. In the booster seat he takes up 1/3 of the space. This was reviewed after 3 weeks of use.Pros:Dog can now see out of the window and is much happier when travelling.Using the booster seat with curved seats is not a problem, even if you have a small car you can position this in such a way where it's more against the door than near the gear stick/hand brake so there's no obstruction.The mechanism for securing the booster seat with the seatbelt through the back means it's really stable and doesn't budge when braking/turning corners.The frame is made from solid plastic to hold the dog's weight, it's not flimsy and won't bend.The instructions are fairly good and putting it together doesn't take long.Cons:I don't want to say it's not worth the money because my dog being calm and happy in the car is priceless, so let's just say it's expensive for what it is and the reason they can charge this (£63 for the deluxe) is because no one else is making anything comparable (others on the market either don't provide elevation or need to be suspended from the headrest are don't appear as robust).The fabric is cheap and the cushion inside isn't worth talking about, it's thin and I don't think it adds remotely any comfort, you'll need to buy a blanket/cushion to put in there yourself.I agree with a previous review that said the carabina should be on a free turning swivel. My dog fidgets and gets quite tangled up on the journey, i.e. if he has turned in a circle a few times to get comfortable the strap with the carabina becomes shorter and begins to pull his harness to one side restricting his movement so he can no longer look out the window requiring me to pull over and untangle him, this could be a problem for long journeys.My booster seat came used, there were lots of marks from being assembled/disassembled previously, with another dog's hair in it. There was no simple way to report this so rather than return for a replacement, I just kept it.

Okay, so technically my dog hasn't test driven this yet, but I am going to give it a 5 star rating in advance!I previously ordered the XL of the same brand which was half the depth of this and hung off the top of the car seat. This actually boosts your dog up higher than the hanging version and gives your job room to be able to face forwards or sit/lay down comfortably whilst looking in the direction that you are driving.It looks the same as the other version - so pretty stylish. It also comes with a pillow with fleece on one side and material on the other - whichever your dog prefers or woolly for winter/cotton for summer lol.The only think I would say is the plastic (like the other) is a little hard so may catch their body if you brake hard. I've ordered some swimming pool noodles to run around the rim in a Blue Peter effort to make it more comfortable lol.Providing this doesn't fall apart soon, I think this is a good product. A little on the expensive side if anything. But enjoyable for dogs.
