Product works but will have to be sized back up in a vice after use. The pressure used to break the snap rings loose cause it to spread itself. Squeezed it in the vice to tighten it back up to fit the ring again to reinstall. So yes it works. But yes you will have to keep it sized up to keep using it

Even though it is nowhere in the description, this worked for removing the fuel pump lock ring on our 2015 Nissan Versa. The service manual has the lock ring wrench tool number as J-45722, and this matched it. You may still need to use a breaker bar or a pipe to extend your ratchet because the lock ring was on there pretty tight.

Hammered away with a chisel and almost blew myself up should have bought this way sooner also but a breaker bar if you don’t have one regular socket wrench won’t get it done.

Worked to remove fuel pump locking ring, easier that a hammer and brass drift.

I bought this tool to service the fuel cell in a Hyundai Santa Fe. It was not a simple task and took considerable force to remove the locking rings. This tool did not protest at all...(even when it should have)

Worked well. Make sure it fits your fuel pump lock. It doesn't fit all GM lock rings.

This is a must have tool if you are removing fuel sending units very often, this tool is very well made and i was able to remove the locking ring as is supposed to do.
