Strong, sturdy comfortable boots
Took a gamble on these buying them on the strength of reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I have been using them for a couple of months and use them most days for dog walking sometimes through some very wet muddy fields or long wet grass. So far they have kept my feet dry and are easy to clean. Sizing is good, I average a 5 1/2 in most shoes and 5 1/2 in these fitted perfectly. They are probably the most comfortable walking boots out of the box that I have owned and I thought some of my other ones were pretty good. They are light, the soles are thick and grip well and they are very stylish. Very happy with them so far. They came directly from Germany and I was a bit worried about the cost of returning them if they didn't fit but they came complete with instructions for free return.

Perfect 'all rounder' boot
These are great boots, had them for 3 months now and covered about 50 miles, from walking to the shops to climbing Ben Nevis they have held up well. For simplicity I will bullet point my thoughts-Comfy from the first wear-As they are leather they take a little wearing in to feel like they are perfect-after 50 miles and a clean they look brand new-feet have stayed dry in moderate rain-untested in heavy rain-easy to put on and get off as metal hooks to lace through-no blisters or rubbing at all-no wear and tear noticed at all.-I usually wear 10-10.5 trainers and size 11 is perfect me forJust a couple of points to note. I changed the insoles as found the originals not soft enough, use a quick coat of renapur to get the colour and waterproof back if needed. Look after these boots and you can't go wrong, should last years

Got to worth trying out
On my third pair of these boots, not because they have worn out, just wanted different colours. These are great boots, I have tried and still have others but never wear them. They look the part and are very comfortable, I would suggest ordering at least a half size up from your norm, I am a size 9 but find 9.5 to be more comfortable. I have one pair of 9's and 2 pairs of 9.5's and I find the size 9 a little tight if I am wearing them for the day.

Comfy and fairly light
Good boots. Slightly slippery on certain smooth surfaces... More slippery than my previous salomans but otherwise a better boot

Sooooo comfortable.
Really well made. Comfortable. Great ankle support. Been submerged in ankle high water and I was completely dry. Might not be cheap but they are worth every penny. Been on the rocks along the coast aswell and the grip is great. Nothing bad to say about the product.

Great boots
I bought these for my boyfriend, here is his review;I originally ordered my size (size 7) these proved to be very tight and small. So I returned them and got a size 8 instead.Just back from a 4km walk - the boots are great, like walking on pillows, sturdy, comfortable and well made, I’m looking forward to walking many miles in these.Five stars.

The best boots I have ever used.
I have just replaced my first pair of Lowa Renegade GTX boots after well over 5 years of light to moderate use. They are by far the best boots I have ever bought. Just like the last pair, these are a perfect fit for me and needed no breaking in. I found these boots to be 100% waterproof unlike some Gortex lined boots I have used in the past. My old boots stayed watertight until the last few months. I would recommend these boots.

Comfortable, but flawed
Preface: I've put somewhere between 500 and 1000 miles in these boots over the last year and a bit of walking in all seasons through the Cotswolds. Walks between 3-15 miles from grass& mud on the flat to steep rocky climbs.+ they're comfortable.+ They're durable; there's a lot more wear in them if I kept using them+ adequate grip in the dry- no grip on wet, hard surfaces- they ceased to be waterproof months back. I think this is because grass seeds kept getting stuck in the fold of the tongue and poking holes.- minor: the top of the boot is like a funnel. I had to stop 3 times on my walk today to empty the debris out.

My go to boot
I have used these boots for the last 15 years. I and very lucky to be out in the field about 100 days a year. They handle every kind of terrain I have been in. From hiking in the flat land cactus country to the craggy peaks over 11,000. These should at least be one of your serious choices to look at. They are super super comfortable for my feet and are waterproof. I get about 4 years out of them. Make sure you put leather conditioner on them so they stay supple and waterproof. DO NOT skimp on footwear. You get what you pay for and you only cry once when you buy the best!

Best all around boots
This is the second pair of these boots I have purchased. Good looking, super comfortable, wear all day boots. You get what you pay for and I have no regrets.

Great company to work with
Lowa makes a great high quality boot. This one is no exception. I considered returning it because at the time it arrived I had very bad foot blisters and foot pain and so it didn't seem to fit right. The issue was mine, not the boot. But the company was really good in granting me enough time to return and given the extra time my foot healed and I found the boot to be comfortable and as a result I ultimately decided to keep the product. Theirgraciousness is another reason to buy this product from them.

A 20-year boot!
Amazingly, the boot on the right survived about 20 years of abuse with regular trips into the Boundary Waters and everyday wear before it finally ceased being waterproof and needed to be replaced, after the sole began to separate from the upper.Much to my surprise, the same boot was available! I got a slightly darker color, but it is the same great quality construction as my old pair! The way I tear through running shoes and footwear in general, I’m generally happy with a couple years, but with this boot I’m expecting many more than that. Highly recommend. Good support, very comfortable, super durable.

Expensive but comfortable
I've been wearing these boots for about 10 years. They are daily wear and work boots and they last me about a year and a half. My left foot was smashed while in the military and I had a hard time finding something I could wear and these did it for me. They are water proof and keep my feet dry. The price has doubled since I started buying them.
