I have very bad lower back issues, which make it difficult to sit - especially on hard surfaces. I bought two of these cushions to use while on a cruise vacation, and they were real lifesavers. I used one to sit on and one behind my lower back and was able to comfortably sit for long periods of time on the lawn and lounge chairs on the pool deck. They are made of very nice, dense foam that provides good comfort - but they aren't terribly heavy, which I was concerned about, as I had to pack these in my luggage and carry them around on the ship. They come in a very handy carrying case and fold in half to fit in it. This made it super easy to throw one in my beach bag and one over my shoulder and carry them around for a week. I now use them if I am going anywhere where I know it will be challenging to sit in a hard seat. Would highly recommend!

Too small in area to use in the car or on office chair, leaves you partially unsupported on the sides and front. It is also too thick for car use, as it jacks you up to the headliner even in a roomy car. It needs to be firmer, thinner, and shaped more like a car seat to be useful in the car. Would be fine for stadium use, but it is a bit heavier and pricier than polyfoam cushions for that purpose.

Comfortable to seat on, but I find the seat too short for my thighs which makes the ride a bit uncomfortable. It does add a layer of comfort but I can probably procure another seat at a lower price.

I ordered this item (cushion with carry case) and today received only the cushion. Now I am faced with the problem of how to carry this thing on a 24-hour journey. The 16x16 inch cushion can be squashed into my 14x15 under the seat carry-on bag, but will leave no room for anything else. The reason it can even be stuffed into the carry-on is that it is very soft. I can easily squish it between thumb and forefinger and I see no way that it will offer much support on a 16-hour flight, even though I weigh 110 lbs. Very disappointing outcome, and there is no time for hassles about getting the carry case, or returning the item altogether.I would like to change my review from two to four stars. I have now used this cushion on several long flights, including two of 16 hours duration, and found it performed very well despite my initial misgivings. It still looks like new and I will be able to use it again and again. No cushion can make an entire 16 hour flight comfortable, but this one provided enough support so that I was even able to sleep and did not suffer from soreness after the journey. Also, I was impressed by the seller's quick and courteous response to my initial review. Without asking for it, I immediately received an apology and a refund for the missing travel bag. I am giving four instead of 5 stars because the lack of a carry bag was awkward and inconvenient.

It's actually nicer than what I expected. The cotton cover has a zip so you can remove it to wash it. It does come with a carrying case in the same cotton. It feel like good quality, it's easy to fold the cushion in it. The cushion itself is firm and comfortable. I only weight 135lbs though, I don't know if someone heavier would sink it it but I don't. I can't wait to use it on my next flight. It's exactly what I was looking for as I travel frequently on long flights.

I didn't realize that this was non-returnable. Doh! From now on, I will only order things that are clearly marked FREE RETURNS. Because how can you know if you want to keep a seat cushion without trying it first? It wasn't for me. Too heavy, too rubbery, and for all of that, not enough cushioning. I'm giving it away.

Ordered this cushion to use on my task chair that I sit in for more than 6 hours a day and my bottom and thighs get sore that I need to get up several times and walk around to get circulation back. Short of buying a new chair I got this cushion. It does help somewhat but not enough for my need. The pad should be thicker, longer and extend out closer to the knees as my thighs still ache. The pad is pricey and really can't fully recommend this pad. Looks like I start shopping for a better chair.
