Good tasting, close to homemade but not perfect. Instant of course.
I make horchata from scratch at home (soaking rice overnight, etc) on occasion and have never really tried this type. I gave it a shot, and the huge benefit is a glass of horchata beverage any time without the 12-18hrs soaking+prep. It can be mixed with water and ice, and has all the flavor, including the cinnamon and sugar already mixed in. It's basically an instant mix in. It tastes pretty good, and while it suggests 2-3 tbs mixed with water, it isn't an exact science and you can just add more scoops to your liking. I mixed with a neutral oat milk and even blended it with some ice in a vitamix for a different effect. Came out good and flavorful either way. No complaints honestly, no bad flavors, aftertastes or textures. I'm not sure yet if it 100% dissolves smoothly in liquid, but if you've had homemade horchata you'll know that rice texture is always there anyway. I can also see this being useful to add to frozen recipes for flavors, such as a homemade ice cream. If you're adding 3+ tbps per beverage cup, this may go fast for many repeated uses of any kind of habit. But the price was inexpensive for an occasional fast cup. I'd purchase again.

Mmm Good!!
Delicious. Much closer to true horchata. Still think it’s a bit overpriced but I enjoyed as I could also misty other flavors like watermelon or cantaloupe and blended really well

Good but a little expensive
Great mix just a little pricey but worth it.

Just like you get in restaurants:)
Tasty af. I used my smoothie blender to mix up horchata powder (start with recipe on bag, but you'll probably need to tweak to your sweetness liking) unsweetened vanilla almond milk and water, so there wouldn't be any dreaded grittiness. Wow. I love that I don't have to pay $7-8 for a large horchata from Grubhub anymore❤️To make a pitcher of horchata, I found this recipe online... one entire package of Naturas horchata mix and 1-2 quarts of water. Start with one quart and then taste for sweetness/additional water.

Not great
My review on this is mixed. It tastes great when mixed with milk (the instructions say water), but it has citric acid in it and the milk curdles. Mixed in water it’s just okay, kind of gritty and watery tasting.

Best Horchata!
Add this with some sweetened condensed milk and you have the best horchata!I tried several kinds but none were correct, but a restaurant gave me this recipe and it’s great!

BEST!
So freaking good! I am no expert on Horchata by any means, but I do know when something is BOMB! And its nice to findone WITHOUT ANY WEIRD AFTERTASTE no matter how much you use. So if you like sweet stuff (because it is sweet but you can make it how you want it) and if you like those warm spice (its not overly heavy on spices at all, its just right), get it. It's worth the price in my opinion.

Not much flavor
I have to add almost 8 or 9 spoons of this into a glass to actually taste the horchata. Very little flavor.
