Great Product
We have a major problem with small birds and pigeons in our back yard. We try plastic owls, metallic ribbons & all sort of other things. No of them ready work that well beside the spikes but you can not use them on the ground where kids are playing. This product work ready well, we don't have to run a power cord to the ultrasonic repeller like my other one.. The moment that we install it most of the birds flew away from the affected area. The birds will come back and once the sensor is activated the birds are gone again. Right now I have no problem with the battery lasting all day, we get the sun from 5am to 8pm during the summer months. I would recommend this Ultrasonic repeller to any one that want to get ride of the pest around their house.

Efficient and durable
I had rat problem in the backyeard. The rats are hiding under the stage of the swimming pool. the regular mouse trap and tape are not working for this kind of wild rat at outdoor. This repeller did keep the rats out of the field. Since my yard is big, I will probably need to buy one more to ensure the rats far away from my house.PS: the noise only youngsters can hear it. People older than 50 would barely notice the noise

Not sure the u8nit is even working
I bought this unit based on the description. What they don't tell you is that the hi intensity lights do not cone on when the photo beam is broken. If you put it at the max setting, those lights come on and are on all the time. To me ,this is entirely bad logic. First off ,it drives everybody nuts seeing those flashing lights all night long. I would have thought that the lights would only come on when the unit has been triggered and then stay on until the threat is gone . In addition, when it is triggered , it does not bother the dog or the cat so hard to say why other critters would be affected. Perhaps this unit isn't working properly. Maybe someone else can mention their experience.

Seem to work
I’ve been at war with the deer on my property who think the 20 fruit trees I planted are for their benefit. Not much seems to work for long except these. At first I didn’t think it worked until my kids ran screaming from the room covering their ears. I guess I’m too old to hear it. Anyway, I’ve watched several occasions where the deer come in to nibble and the red lights start to flash and the deer bolt. Don’t know if it’s the lights or the noise but something seems to be working. The batteries are rechargeable, and after an initial charge the solar panel on top seems to keep them charged well. Going on a year now. I bought a second.Only problem is my son won’t mow out by the fruit trees anymore because of the sound. Like I said, I can’t hear it so it doesn’t bother me. Maybe he can’t hear it either and he’s just a criminal genius and has figured how to get out of a chore. More research needed.

Complete Failure to repel animals from eating melons
This product did not prevent animals from destroying my cantaloupes. I actually had 3 of them positioned around my garden, and they went off almost constantly during the day due to wind motion. The ultrasonic noise certainly was annoying to humans, but apparently not so much to raccoons or whatever other animal feasted on my not quite mature melons. I also surrounded my garden with animal repellent granular pellets, which also were a failure. I would not rely on this to keep animals away. Unfortunately the animals attacked just a week outside the return window, so I am stuck with them.

squirrels turn a deaf ear
I tried to use this product to get rid of squirrels in my backyard that have ravaged my vegetable garden (they even like eggplant). The device is easy to set up and install. The stem is short, so if you want any kind of height when installing, you will need some thing else to raise the device. It definitely worked in generating a very high pitched noise that my children could definitely hear and I could barely hear (on one of the settings). But, the squirrels could care less about the noise (on any of the settings) - the flashing light is obviously useless during the daytime. Build quality is also not that good as it is simple plastic and I can already see water inside the motion sensor. I don't have any other animals around, so I cannot comment on the device's effectiveness for any other animal.

This Nobug Animal Repellent Ultrasonic Outdoor
This Nobug Animal Repellent Ultrasonic Outdoor,I do not usually right reviews but I noticed that I depend on them. So I decided that I will start. I purchased this Wilkomo ultrasonic pest repeller. Last week. Prior to purchasing I had an annoying problem were the next door neighbors cat was using my DG Decomposed Granite as a litter box. Every morning I would wake up and find the cat buried its poop in my DG. It left holes and poop all through my expensive BBQ area. I bought this unit and places it on the second setting. I have not seen any poop since. I saw the cat in my neighbors yard but not in mind... YES ! success.I will continue to monitor, followup and will update this review if needed. Also I did leave this unit in the rain and it is water proof.

This repeller doesn't work
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The first day at least the deer acknowledged the repeller. By the third day - didn't even notice it. A waste of time and money. Video shows a mom and two fawns, walking right past alarm as it goes off - then fawn turns to look closer at the alarm. These are an amusement - not a repellent.
