Why this is my favorite water bottle
I first purchased this water bottle several years ago for my son. After while my other son wanted the same exact bottle. I came to realize why: you could see how much water was in it, was in fun, bright colors, easy to find in a book bag, no straw to worry about cleaning, the 20 oz was not too big and not too small, it had a loop to carry it, but better bc on that loop was a carabiner so you could loop it on to a book bag, belt loop, or purse and it lasted years without a single issue. It really is the perfect water bottle. So i purchased this for myself. Fast forward several years and the boys lost or dropped the water bottle, but I still had mine. My son wanted to bring it on a European trip; I was a little reluctant but gave in and sure enough, he lost it on the trip. 🙄 I was surprised it still available on Amazon and ordered it but the bottle that came was quite different — different colors, different plastic and worst of all no carabiner. I thought for sure this was a discontinued item, especially since other reviewers were stating a similar experience. Months later I looked at some recent reviews and much to my surprise they said that it was as pictured. So I took a chance and ordered it again in early Dec 2024 and was thrilled & surprised that it was indeed the same one pictured with the wonderful carabiner! See my pics. Whoever from Contigo fixed this issue, thank you very much. How can a water bottle make a person so happy I don’t know, but I’m going to order several more in case it’s ever discontinued or lost again. 😀

Two toddlers, three years - the bottles still hold!
I've purchased two bottles for my kids in April 2021, after using the larger version myself (I use it still, around 4-5 years).Till now the bottles are still intact (despite of the beating they took from the kids), they don't leak, and most important - THEY DON'T GET SMELLY!!! even when not washed daily!!! and since there's no complex mechanism, the bottle is super easy to clean (either by hand, or in the dishwasher).Purchased a pair of new ones today only because the handle broke off on one of them while rushing to school and bumping into a wall with the bottle. Totally worth the money!

The BEST water bottle
My kids use these for school. They just work really well, are easy to clean (I hand wash through the week and toss them in the dishwasher on Fridays), hold up well, and don't leak - and no straw to deal with! I like the covered mouth piece and the autoseal feature works well. The handle has a built in clip that works great to clip it to a lunch box or backpack, if needed. Ours have held up for years.

Great water bottle! No straw!
This is a great size, very durable, and easy-to-clean water bottle. I bought this for my 2nd grader to bring to school, and it’s the only water that lasted. I love the fact that there’s no rubber mouthpiece and no straw to wash. I will definitely buy this for my daughter when she goes to kindergarten next year. Highly recommend it!

It’s Good
Works as it should. Only used it for a couple days for my 9yo son. Hasn’t leaked. Just wished it was a bit insulated. My son keeps saying “my water bottle is sweating”.Otherwise, the size, color and duties are on point for now.

Great for my 2nd grader
My 2nd grader would not drink water out of his straw bottle. I sent it to school with him every day and it came home full. I was concerned he wasn't drinking enough. I thought perhaps he wasn't a fan of the straw and looked for a leak proof alternative. I found this and got one. He loved it! For a week his bottle came home empty, so I ordered 2 more for him. Leak proof and picky kid approved.

No straw no problem - easy to clean
My son mostly uses this water bottle and it’s easy for him to drink from. On the off occasion I’ve used it during my workouts, it’s worked great with no straw and I was able to drink all of it. When I dropped it on the gym floor only a few drops of water spilled out. Easy to clean.

So Far So Good
I purchased this water bottle a month and a half ago for my youngest to use for kindergarten. His teacher specifically asked that we get them a water bottle they could open/close themselves and that *would not leak* all over their backpack. We took it with us on our road trip so my son could get used to using it. After a quick tutorial he had no problem with it (although I don't use the extra lock at this time so he only has to follow the two-step process of flipping open the spout and pushing the button while he drinks from it). I like that I can put it in the dishwasher now and then (although I usually hand wash the top) and this 20 oz size fits perfectly in the drink holder of his carseat. We'll see how it holds up over a year of kindergarten use. I did see on the Contigo website that you can order a replacement lid although I don't have any personal experience with that yet.
