At the University of Padua (Italy, Venice area) my training on the mechanics of vibrations was founded about Rao handbook.A real great book (I believe that buy its fifth edition).Unfortunately this work of Prof. Rao, on reliability engineering, is not, in my opinion, to the same level.And I say this with sorrow.In particular, Chapter 15, on the maintainability and availability, I think it can be improved.There are, on the editorial market, better options.Marzio MarigoVenice AreaItaly
