DJI OSMO Action – Dual Touch Display Waterproof Digital Action Camera with 4K HD Video 12MP Photos Live Streaming Stabilization (64GB Memory)

I have owned multiple Gopros including the Hero 7 Black which the DJI Osmo Action Camera is most often compared with and I have to say that I very much prefer the Dji Osmo to the GoPro. Some of the things are personal preference like the way each camera handles colors or how wide the angles are. I prefer the less wide less distorted view of the DJI but that's based on what I'm using the camera for and my personal preference. What is not a personal preference and is based on me putting my DJI and my Hero 7 black right next to each other on the same rig and captured the exact same moments is the in camera stabilization. The DJI in my experience put the go pro to shame. I actually questioned whether I had the stabilization on in my go pro shots because it looked SO bad compared to the DJI. I actually did the test a 2nd time just to make sure. Sure enough it was on but wasnt even close to as smooth as the DJI. Neither camera showed any active shaking even though both cameras were shaking like crazy but the go pro tilted back and forth constantly while the DJI remained level and smooth. It honestly didn't look like the same shot. The DJI videos are much sharper looking than GoPro especially the trees and grass. The DJI build quality is also much better. The GoPro had a more rubber finish that scratched really easily while the DJI feels more like the back of a spray textured truck bed. It doesnt scratch and feels very strong. The screen on the DJI is also much bigger and sharper than go pros screen and the front screen on the DJI is something that Gopro should have done a long time ago. I use the DJI on an almost daily basis for youtube videos as well as an extra angle for my own business doing videography. It's also great for when I dont feel like putting my blackmagic camera on my gimbal. I literally can put the dji on a non stabilized selfie stick and get just as smoother if not smoother video that my gimbal. If I put the dji on my stabilized gimbal it almost looks fake because it is so incredibly smooth. DJI hit a home run with this camera! You better watch your back go pro!

This camera is just great! Video is very stable and manual options allow you to get some really cool shots at night. I have owned some GoPro cameras previously but I think I like this one a little better, especially since it uses the same app as my DJI osmo pocket.

Great camera. I purchased both the go pro hero 7 black and the osmo action and hands down prefer the osmo action. Battery life is better, front facing camera screen, and quality of video set it aside from any other action camera.Completely recommend to get one.

I would like to share my worst shopping experience. Both customer service and the products are HORRIBLE. After using Osmo Action only ONCE in the swimming pool, very gently with every single parts locked securely, water got inside the monitor, lens and battery room were all dead. I was pretty sure that the problem belongs to the product itself, therefore, I can get a free replacement for it. I sent it to DJI and they said it is my fault, insisting that my Osmo passed their "water pressure test" without any diagnose proof document. CS even asked me if I was telling a lie in a very rude way ; "Can you please tell me what really happened and how did you make sure that the Osmo Actions lock is really set properly?". I asked them to disclose their water pressure test standard but they never did. Very doubtful if they really did the water test. All they insist is that everything is user's fault. They never admit their malfunction from the very beginning. (I communicated with the CS more than 10 times) At the end,they asked me to pay another 300 bucks for providing me a used Osmo! They said the fee is NOT under warranty, although I purchased this product 3 months ago. Again, I used my Osmo very carefully and checked every part was locked tight before using it in the swimming pool, but they kept insisting everything is caused by my misuse. . It really does not make any sense, because as you all know, the product is "waterproof". I used as the description says and the product was broken in one second. I will never purchase any DJI products. I am getting GOPRO for sure.NO WATER PROOF and RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Product stopped working within two weeks of use..

This is a much better camera than the GoPro. A lot more stable when recording action video and a better camera video quality in general. The deal is really good too. You just 10$ for 64GB card.
